I really enjoyed the room, it was very clean on a daily basis and it was really quiet. I enjoyed the shower, it had great pressure. Shirley was a fantastic host, who provided lots of tips for around Edinburgh and she also provided snack in the room on a daily basis. The Scottish Whiskey was also a very nice touch

The bed was very comfortable and the decoration was lovely. We were given a taste of scotch in little crystal glasses and some chocolates and granola bars on the first day in a small fridge.

Nicely appointed suite. Beautifully maintained home. Lovely touches to make it a comfortable stay.

Welcoming hosts who communicated very well in the run up to our trip. Gave tips on places to visit and local eateries. Spotless room and nice touches such as dram of whiskey and chocolates on arrival. Would recommend.

Mags is delightful and gave us some helpful information.

Nice, clean comfortable room, serviced daily. Margaret was very attentive, providing a solution to a small issue we had. The little decanter of whisky went down well with hubby too.

Everything was very nice!

The accomodation was just amazing! The room was big and bright. The owers were so sweet and gave us plenty of recommendations what to do on a weekend in Edinburgh. The location of the house is perfect. It's in between Leith and Edinburgh Center. Within less than 40 minutes of walking you are at Edinburgh Castle (to other parts of the city or the Royal Mile much faster). Also the Tram or busses depart almost directly in front of the door. To the airport it takes you around 50 minutes to 1 hour by bus or tram. For us, that was really convenient! All in all it was a 10/10 for us and we would come back anytime!

Perfectly located, so reasonably priced, superb facilities - all tastefully done with style and panache. Shirley was outstanding, all the top tips worked so well added to the flexibility to leave bags and to delay our checkout. Very much appreciated. We’ll be back for sure - together with my classy new handmade socks from Coburg Art Studios.

Decor

Very clean and tidy. Comfortable and very decent.

The room was lovely. We had the room on the top floor. The room as spacious and quiet. The bathroom was detached but we didn’t mind it at all. The location was great too, connection to the bus, tram and so much was within walking distance.

Very clean, big windows which let in plenty of light and well connected with bus routes.

Very nice! Clean and neat on the inside! Very well kept up.
