Firstly, the location is really great, which is nearby Aya Sophia and Blue Mosque. Also, a lot of restaurants and shops. The staff are polite and they provide fresh towels everyday. The breakfast is very nice and I like it so much.

This hotel located at Sultanahmet area which is nearby to all the attractions like Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, 7 hill restaurant and all. The tram station (Sultanahmet) also very close just 5 min walking distance. Lot of restaurants nearby, don’t worry if you’re hungry. The hotel is cute and cozy! They have the rooftop view which you can go there to see the sunrise and sunset! Thank you Arif for helping me during the stay. Surely all the staff are very kind, I am happy to say that. :)

The property was located in a very convenient and nice neighborhood, near Blue Mosques and Hagia Sophia. The top room was spacious and the owner was very nice :) The view from terrace was magnificent - one 1 side overlooked ports/sea and on the other side you could see Blue Mosque - as photos that I have attached.

About This Hotel

Positioned in Istanbul’s historic Sultanahmet district, Apex Hotel offers a refined base for exploring the city’s most iconic sights. The property is just a short, three minute stroll from the Blue Mosque, placing you within easy reach of this renowned landmark and the atmospheric streets that define the area. The hotel’s address on Mimar Mehmet Aga Caddesi situates you in the heart of the Old City, where tradition and modern comfort come together to create a memorable stay. This boutique property is compact and intimate, with a total of 12 rooms that ensure a personal, attentive experience for guests who value character and convenience in equal measure. One of the standout features is a rooftop terrace that reveals postcard worthy views of the Sea of Marmara. The rooftop is a quiet escape where you can unwind after a day of sightseeing, enjoying Istanbul’s skyline as the sun sets over the water. It is the kind of space that adds a special touch to a city break, offering a peaceful vantage point after busy days of exploration. While the listing emphasizes the terrace and its sea views, it does not highlight on site pools or beaches, focusing instead on urban charm and the visual appeal of the harbor from above. Inside, the hotel presents 12 rooms that are richly decorated, designed to blend character with comfort. The accommodation is described as richly adorned, creating an inviting atmosphere that helps guests feel at home away from home. Free WiFi is available in all areas, a practical detail for travelers who need to stay connected or share moments from their Istanbul adventures. The rooms are designed to be comfortable and stylish, with tasteful decor that echoes the historic setting while providing modern conveniences. The overall vibe is one of boutique appeal, where guests can relax in a warmly curated space after a day spent wandering through around the city’s ancient streets. Check in is available from 14:00 to 23:30, and check out is until 12:00. These times offer a balanced window for late arrivals and relaxed departures, helping guests plan their days without feeling rushed. The property also adheres to a clear internet policy, with WiFi available throughout the hotel at no extra charge. This makes it easy to map routes, research sights at the door, or simply stay in touch while enjoying a Turkish coffee on the terrace. Food and beverage details are not specified in the listing, and guests may wish to explore nearby eateries in the area to sample Istanbul’s famous culinary offerings. The immediate neighborhood around Sultanahmet is rich with dining options, allowing visitors to choose between traditional Turkish fare, modern cafes, and options for quick meals after a day of sightseeing. If on site dining is a priority, it is worth contacting the hotel directly to inquire about any current arrangements or new offerings. Family friendliness is a notable consideration at Apex Hotel. Children of any age are welcome, reflecting a warm approach to families who want to explore together. The policy indicates a maximum occupancy of three guests, and there is no capacity for extra beds or cots. There is also a practical benefit for families with younger children: up to two children aged seven and under can stay for free when using existing beds. This makes Apex an appealing option for small families seeking a central, intimate base from which to discover the city while keeping costs in check. It is important to note that check in and check out times, occupancy limits, and bed arrangements may vary depending on the option booked, so guests should verify details during the booking process. In terms of relaxation and entertainment, the rooftop terrace stands out as a feature that invites guests to pause and take in their surroundings. It is a simple but effective space for unwinding after a day spent visiting historic sites. The hotel emphasizes an atmosphere of calm and character rather than a full wellness program, which aligns well with travelers who prefer a quiet, stylish home base in the heart of Istanbul. Those seeking a broader spa or extensive leisure facilities may want to look to nearby options in the city center, but for many visitors, Apex offers an elegant, low key sanctuary that complements a busy itinerary. Apex Hotel is ideal for travelers who value a central location with a strong sense of place. It suits couples who want a romantic base within walking distance of the Blue Mosque and other historic attractions, as well as small families looking for a charming, compact property where every detail feels considered. With its richly decorated rooms, dependable free WiFi, and a rooftop terrace with Sea of Marmara views, the hotel delivers a memorable Istanbul experience without compromising on comfort. Its boutique scale and thoughtful policies also make it a good fit for guests who appreciate a personal touch and a peaceful retreat after days spent exploring one of the world’s most storied cities.
