Everything was spot on, the staff was available and very helpful, the room was super nice and comfortable. It was very clean and tidy.
Very warm and cozy room , a small bathroom ,but with a good shower
Beautiful room. Huge space, very comfortable.
Very nice room in a nice neighborhood. We had everything we needed and the self-service check-in was very practical.
We enjoyed our stay at Ard-Na-Said Guest House. Perfect for us, seeing as it's located a bit out of the noisy city centre - approx. 40 min. walk / 15 min. bus journey. The rooms where clean and we really liked the "common room", which had a variety of selections of snacks, food and games.
Spacious, comfy bed, off street parking
This was a lovely room. Spacious with large bathroom and very peaceful. It was generously set up with a good coffee machine in the lounge. Very convenient for buses or just walking into town. Really welcoming.
We loved everything! The facilities are gorgeous 😍 ✨️ ❤️ The room is spacious, pretty big. There was everything we needed: iron, hair dryer, hot water pot... really everything! The bed is so comfy! Everything is clean, the room had just the perfect temperature. The bathroom is the biggest I have seen and included a hot tube and a walk-in shower. There is also a common room with a coffee machine and snacks. Best of it was the terrace with outside furniture where we enjoyed our morning coffee and relaxed. It was really the best stay ever. The location is close to the new town and old town is reachable by bus for 15 minutes. There were great pubs nearby, like several minutes walk, yet it was a quiet area. Arthur's seat is nearby so we enjoyed both nature and sightseeing. We highly recommend the place and would give it more than 10 stars. It really exceeds the expectations. It was our first stay in Edinburgh and honestly if we have another chance to visit (and we hope we will as we fell in love with the town) we would definitely stay here again. It was indeed a wonderful experience.
It’s a lovely house, beautifully decorated. Good location - easy bus into centre. The host is helpful, and a great source of local knowledge.
Absolutely loved our room. We stayed in the Wallace bedroom and we were so pleased with it. Beautiful decor, lovely size and the bed was a massive four poster and so comfy, we wanted to take it home. Lovely shower, needed after our walks. View was very nice and tv had netflix etc on if just wanting to relax with a good movie. We also enjoyed being able to help ourselves to some snacks downstairs in the morning, my partner especially loved the croissants. Absolutely worth every penny.
We were met by the owner who was really nice told us about the facilities & also surrounding places of interest. The place was spotless. Complimentary snacks & coffee which was a lovely touch. Would go back & will go back
V helpfully staff
Location peaceful cosy bed stayed 1 night as we're at the oasis concert
We had an amazing stay at Ard na Said! The manager was friendly, and he went above and beyond to make sure our gluten-free needs for the complimentary breakfast snacks were met, as my wife has celiac disease. The room was spotless, cozy, and very comfortable. The location is perfect — peaceful, yet just a short walk to the bus stop, which made exploring the area so easy. We felt truly taken care of and would absolutely recommend Ard na Said to anyone looking for a lovely place to stay.
The host, Steve, was very friendly and helpful. The location near Holyrood Park and pleasant walk or easy bus ride to Old Town was great. Coffee machine was great and grab and go breakfast items were good.
The room was great size, the bathroom was huge.
Lovely guest house. Great value. Easy entry using key box. Room was spacious and clean, bed was very comfortable. Lovely lounge with coffee machine, cold drinks and snacks.
The cleanliness excelled, the room was perfect, just outside the city and an easy stroll to get there. Best place to stay.
