Beautiful building in what seemed like very nice, safe area. Very close to bus stop. Beds were extremely comfortable; loved that all three of us could be in the one room without the need to share a bed. Perfect for an impromptu 48 hours in Edinburgh to see a show

Beautiful building with lovely features. Our 4 bed room was spacious. The radiator worked well, we stayed during Storm Amy so needed that! The toilet flushed brilliantly, the shower was powerful and hot.

We talked to Maureen on out last night & she was very kind to offer us another room for our luggage before we left. She was very keen to ask if we had everything. The rooms were supplied with plenty of tea & coffee and we also had use of plates & cutlery & a microwave! We also very much appreciated the little slippers after a long day walking! Transport is nearby as its a little outside the main centre and there is also a very handy shopping centre down the road! Our friends were just upstairs.

- Good pricing: Accommodation in Edinburgh can be really expensive especially in summer. Our 1-night stay was reasonably priced. It’s good value for money. - Great location: There’s a bus stop right in front of the guest house. There are multiple routes that can take you to/from the city centre and the old town. It’s only 15 mins away. There’s also a supermarket nearby within walking distance. - Great communication: The owner Maureen is very responsive. Communication was very easy. The self check in process was also seamless. - Free onsite parking!

Room was spacious ( In fact, large ) and we were 4 adults and we were accommodated comfortably in this room. It was very clean and done up well too. Bath is outside ( but next to the room and indoors too ) but not a big hassle at all. We were looking for a safe parking spot and found one here . So this property ticked all boxes for us and we enjoyed our stay here. Just a few minutes walk from the property is a bus stand and we could take bus to a spot in town for the Royal Mile walk.
