Guest Reviews
Location was excellent and the staff very friendly. We only had the continental breakfast which was good but a cooked breakfast was offered.
Beautiful and centrally-located old property. Very clean and lovely decor.
Walking distance from the campus, lovely and vintage hotel, quiet and cozy, rooms fully equipped, staff super available and always supportive, nice continental breakfast, adjacent Turf tavern is a must-visit for dinner
The breakfast was a continental breakfast with toast. The hotel is in a dinky little corner of Oxford which is actually quite handy for the shops
Andrew was very helpful !
Low key, very comfortable, bed and breakfast right in the center of Oxford. Located in a historic building with clean and comfortable rooms. In room tea service is generous and includes biscuits. Complimentary continental breakfast is excellent. Good hot water and fluffy towels with heated towel rack. Friendly and helpful staff. This is second visit and will stay there again.
Traditional and welcoming
Good location.
Friendly staff, wonderful quirky old room. The whole place is full of character, but also warm and quiet. Good continental breakfast. Also central location.
The hotel is super cute, in a quaint, old-fashioned building with little winding stairs. The bedroom we had was very small, but it was fine for us, the bathroom was nice and the view over the Turf Tavern was good for us. The old windows have more modern double glazing so we didn't have an issue with noise. The staff were super friendly and helpful.
Perfect location. Would stay again.
Great location
My room had its own private garden! The room was comfortable, clean, and had everything I needed. The location could not have been better - a very short walk finds Bodleian, Sheldonian, Bridge of Sighs, Radcliffe, etc! The Turf Tavern, which is a wonderful pub, is on the property. The staff was incredibly accommodating, friendly and helpful! They also have limited parking nearby (for a fee, but when driving, that's a wonderful opportunity).
Quirky room. Very convenient
Location & comfort
Friendly helpful staff, a hotel full of character. Wonderful location in the centre of Oxford, and parking available which was a real bonus. Contacted hotel before stay with a few queries and received quick and helpful responses.
About This Hotel

The location is ideal for visitors who want to be close to the city’s academic core and its historic streets. The surrounding area is easy to explore on foot, with the History of Science Museum just 200 metres away and the university campus within easy reach. Facilities and on site experience: The property features a bar and WiFi across all areas at no extra charge. There is no explicit mention of a beach or pool, which is typical for a city center stay. Private parking is possible nearby with reservation and costs GBP 30 per day. While the hotel may not list extensive leisure facilities, its central Oxford location invites guests to step out and enjoy the city’s lively streets, independent shops, and lively piazzas at any time. Rooms and renovation details: Bath Place Hotel comprises eight rooms, each presented in photos as comfortable and well arranged. The images show tidy bedrooms with beds as a central feature. The listing does not specify renovation dates or recent upgrades, so guests seeking the latest design features should contact the property for exact details.
