Guest Reviews
It was in a good location for the main attractions of the city. Room was absolutely fine. Very good breakfast. Helpful, friendly staff.
Walking distance to all the attractions in Istanbul. The front desk manager Adnan was extremely helpful and even went above and beyond to give us a lake check out. Special thanks to Aisha from the breakfast team who is soo helpful and always smiling.
Lovely spacious room. Really liked the lounge area. Very comfortable bed. Great breakfast on the 4th floor with a lovely view of the tree lined street and old boys school. Staff were really friendly and helpful.
The friendly and helpful staff. The central location close to all the main attractions, trams and harbour. The large variety of food at the buffet breakfast.
Our stay at the Boss Hotel in Istanbul was absolutely wonderful! Located in the heart of Sultanahmet, it’s the perfect spot for tourists—just a short walk from all the major historic sites, shops, and restaurants. The location made exploring the city incredibly easy, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable throughout our stay. One of the staff members, Firat, even surprised my sister and me with delicious Turkish treats for our birthday, which was such a thoughtful and heartwarming gesture. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
Very good location in a quiet area but walking distance from everything we visited. Comfortable large bed. Super kind staff.
Location of the hotel and the hospitability of the staff. Especially, Mr. Firat from reception was very friendly, helpful and welcoming. I recomand this hotel.
The people there are very kind and helpful when it comes to navigating the city and making us aware of the tricky parts in Istanbul.
This is our 4th time staying at this hotel. And this says it all. I can't thank the staff enough for being very professional, prompt to the customer's needs, extremely friendly. I would like to specifically mention: Adnan Kanat, Deniz, Senol, Firhat and also the lovely older lady from Housekeeping (I apologize for not remembering her name). Without any exaggeration, the hotel is extremely clean, decorated with great taste and the location is exactly what you need. It is practically located in the center of the Sultanahmet district. The breakfast is extremely varied, fresh and with many options for vegetarians and vegans as well. They also have dishes that are replaced every morning which makes breakfast not always the same. We will return with pleasure every time.....we feel and are welcomed like HOME. We will always recommend this hotel to everybody who wants to visit Istanbul. See you next time!🤗

About This Hotel
Boss Hotel Sultanahmet occupies a prime spot in Istanbul’s historic Fatih district, offering a practical yet charming base for travelers who want to step out and walk to major sights. Its location is one of its strongest selling points, with the Hagia Sophia a short stroll away and the Column of Constantine and Suleymaniye Mosque within easy reach. The neighborhood is rich with history, and guests can easily wander through narrow lanes, browse small shops, and enjoy the atmosphere of one of the world’s oldest cities. The hotel’s setting makes it an ideal choice for culturally minded travelers who value convenience and immersion in the local character rather than a resort style escape. From the moment you arrive at Sururi Mahallesi Türkocağı Cad. No 15, you sense the cadence of an ancient city paired with modern efficiency. Fatih is known for its proximity to key landmarks, and Boss Hotel Sultanahmet places you right at the heart of it all, among terraces, mosques, and historic lanes that invite exploration on foot. The surrounding streets offer a feel for daily Istanbul life, from casual cafés to small bakeries, while a gentle walk brings you to iconic monuments and museums. This is a destination where you plan your days around the skyline of domes and minarets, then return to a comfortable, quiet base that helps you rest and recharge for the next day of discoveries. The hotel itself is a compact, well run property with 27 rooms. It emphasizes efficient service and a welcoming atmosphere. The lobby and reception areas, as shown in the photos, present a practical space where guests can pause before heading out to a day of sightseeing or after a long day of wandering through Istanbul’s historic streets. The building and interiors reflect a contemporary sensibility that respects the area’s heritage, delivering a calm backdrop after busy days on the cobblestones. While the focus is clearly on city center living, the hotel also makes it easy to relax when you return from your excursions. A well designed reception area provides a comfortable transition between the hustle of the district and the rest you seek in the evenings. Rooms at Boss Hotel Sultanahmet are designed for comfort and practical convenience. The photo gallery highlights spaces that feel homely and usable, with mentions of a living area and dining spaces in some layouts. In many rooms you can expect a seating area, a dedicated dining zone, and a living room setup, which gives you room to unwind after a day of walking tours. The presence of TV and multimedia amenities, along with coffee and tea facilities, adds everyday convenience to your stay. The bed area is clearly a focal point in the visuals, complemented by thoughtful decor that creates a relaxing ambiance. Some rooms even offer balconies or terraces, allowing guests to step outside for fresh air or to enjoy a view of the surrounding streets. Private bathrooms are standard, and the photos indicate modern showers and toilets, ensuring your morning routine is straightforward and comfortable. Although renovation specifics aren’t listed, the overall presentation signals a well maintained property where rooms feel fresh and tidy, designed for a good night’s sleep after a busy day in the city. A key feature of the stay is the breakfast experience. The hotel emphasizes a buffet breakfast, a common and convenient option for travelers who want to start sightseeing early and with energy. The gallery includes multiple breakfast related images, underscoring the importance of a solid morning meal. You can expect a collaborative dining setup that suits solo travelers, couples, and groups alike, with the potential for a relaxed start to the day right downstairs or nearby. While the listing does not expressly confirm an on site restaurant beyond breakfast, the presence of photos labeled Restaurant or places to eat suggests convenient dining options either within the property or in close proximity, making mornings easy and meals flexible. Family friendliness is a nuanced topic at Boss Hotel Sultanahmet. The property explicitly states that children are not allowed, and there is no capacity for extra beds or cots. The maximum occupancy per room is 3 guests, which signals a compact, intimate environment best suited to adults who value quiet and focused travel. This policy creates a calm, undisturbed atmosphere that many solo travelers and couples appreciate, especially in a historic area where the streets themselves can be quite lively. If you are traveling with children or require family oriented facilities, you may wish to consider other options. When it comes to relaxation and entertainment, the strongest draw remains the setting. The neighborhood itself is a living museum with endless photo opportunities and a constant sense of discovery. Inside the hotel, the arrangement of rooms and common spaces promotes a peaceful return after long days of exploration. Some rooms offer balconies or terraces which add a touch of outdoor space to your stay, an ideal feature for savoring a morning coffee or evening breeze while taking in the character of the neighborhood. For guests seeking wellness or spa style facilities, the listing does not mention a dedicated wellness center, so the appeal rests in a clean, comfortable environment where rest and rejuvenation come from restful rooms, dependable WiFi, and a well positioned launching pad for day trips into Istanbul’s most cherished districts. This hotel is best suited for travelers who prize location over resort style amenities. It appeals to history buffs, solo explorers, and couples who want to maximize time in the heart of the old city. Its central Fatih address means you can step outside and be among mosques, towers, and ancient streets within minutes. You will also appreciate the practical conveniences that support hassle free travel, such as free WiFi across all areas, straightforward check in from 2 pm, and check out by 12 30 pm. The minimum check in age is 18 which makes this an ideal choice for adult travelers looking for a serene but vibrant urban experience. Boss Hotel Sultanahmet is a boutique style compromise between authentic historic ambiance and modern day practicality, delivering a reliable and enjoyable base for discovering Istanbul’s extraordinary heritage.
