The host reached out before I go to the destination with info how to get in the house. The beds were pretty good, and I was happy there was a teakettle and mini fridge.

Beautiful and spacious room. Excellent location to visit all the Edinburgh has to offer. There is a bus that takes you to the royal mile right out the front. The bus to catch is 44. There is also close on street parking if you bring a car, however we found catching the bus was more convenient for in city parking.

Great location and not far away from Edinburgh castle. The room is clean and has a Roku tv with free channels. The bus stop is in front of the property, just take bus number 41 to the famous attractions. The bathroom is small but works fine 👍. Beds are good.

We liked the location more than I anticipated. To get to the city centre we would take a nice refreshing walk right around or through the Holyrood Park which took about 45 minutes, which we found was an excellent way to start and end a day of exploration. Beds in our room were comfortable as was the shower, which had a temperature selection knob. For a place to crash after a busy day it was perfect.

We had a great 3-day stay at the Brae Guest House as a family of three. The room was clean, comfortable, and just right for our needs. The location was very convenient, with a bus stop right outside and a Morrisons supermarket just behind the guest house. The neighbourhood felt safe and quiet, which made our stay even more relaxing. The hosts were friendly and made us feel welcome throughout. It was a pleasant and hassle-free experience, and we’d definitely recommend it to others looking for a simple, comfortable place to stay.

The location was great in terms of grabbing a quick breakfast from near by cafes and close by supermarkets. During our short stay we literally just walked it out everywhere. Good bus connectivity options as well from the stay.
