Everything. You literally can’t go wrong with Celine Hotel. One of the most reliable, comforting, nurturing, and wholesome hotels I’ve ever been to. I come from a culture that values hospitality a lot, and Celine Hotel takes the cake for it. This was my 6th stay at this hotel, and I will definitely come here again. The location, staff, responsiveness, and breakfast are all worth mentioning. Considering how popular Istanbul’s become as a tourist destination, its quite lovely how quaint this particular nook in Sultanahmet becomes post 6 pm (once all the tourists groups leave), definitely the right setting to get lost in time. And this hotel fits right into that theme. All in all, must recommend. I came with my three little sisters for a sisters’ trip, and we felt extremely safe and well taken care of under Celine Hotel’s care.

The location was perfect for the tourist sites and not far from public transport to explore other areas. The breakfast was good and varied but always the same. The room was comfortable, very quiet and had a lovely view.

Stephanie 9.0

The hotel is in the perfect location, just a few minutes walk to places like the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and Basilica Cistern. There are also plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. The room was a good size and very comfortable. There was a great choice of breakfast items, all beautifully presented. The staff at the hotel are really friendly and helpful. I arrived on an early flight and the hotel were happy to let me wait for my sister in reception and offered me water and breakfast, even though it was hours until check-in.

nice comfy hotel in a good location. very clean and the building is beautiful. the only issue was that it was noisy during the night as my room had windows on the street. I woke up a few times during the night. Other than that, perfect hotel and the staff was very helpful.

Loved our 3 day stay in this boutique hotel. Very close to the main sights with the Blue mosque just down the road. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Staff were helpful, courteous and friendly. The breakfast was served in the covered courtyard - nice way to start your day.

Celine hotel is in the perfect location! It is minutes away from major landmarks by foot and very easy to find. The staff were incredible, who always offered recommendations and tips for navigating Istanbul. Despite a scammy taxi on our arrival, Celine Hotel made our experience tenfold times. The breakfast is impeccable- we always enjoyed our mornings in the peaceful patio, and the overall quality of the hotel is unbeatable. Unlike several hotels in the area, Celine Hotel has a luxurious yet classically Turkish feel. Thank you for our amazing stay and we hope to visit again soon!

The address Peykhane Cad No 28 places you in the middle of ancient Istanbul, with cafes, small shops, and the mood of a city that has welcomed travelers for centuries. The hotel blends classic charm with a sense of quiet refinement, offering a serene base after a day of exploration. The overall feel is intimate, with just 14 rooms to create a discreet and personalized atmosphere for every guest. The experience here is very much urban and culture focused. You will be surrounded by Istanbul’s historic core, where centuries of history unfold in the surrounding architecture and nearby monuments. It is the kind of setting that appeals to travelers who want to immerse themselves in the sights and sounds of the city, rather than crowds and resort amenities. While the listings emphasize the location and authentic atmosphere, the property also makes clear its on site offerings that help you feel at home in a bustling, atmospheric neighborhood. The sense of proximity to two of Istanbul’s most famous landmarks is a recurring highlight, inviting morning rituals of coffee and pastry before you step outside to wander the ancient streets. Rooms at Celine Hotel Ottoman Mansion are designed to offer comfort in a setting that respects the building’s heritage. The property has 14 rooms in total, and while specific renovation details are not listed, the presentation focuses on clean lines, comfortable layouts, and tasteful touches that align with the building’s classic mood. Photos show well arranged sleeping areas, with beds that emphasize restful nights, and living spaces that include seating areas for guests who wish to relax indoors. The arrangement of rooms appears to be generous for a boutique property, suggesting a focus on personal service and quiet moments after a day of sightseeing. Guests may find that the rooms provide a practical balance between traditional charm and modern convenience, an approach that suits travelers who value both character and comfort during their stay. Food and beverage options at the hotel reflect a practical, guest friendly approach. Breakfast options include buffet and continental styles, with indications of American style choices as well. The presence of a dining area and multiple breakfast visuals in the listing supports a straightforward, satisfying morning meal before heading out to the city’s attractions. While there is no claim of a large resort style kitchen, you can expect a reliable start to the day with a focus on quality basics that suit travelers who want a simple, well prepared meal to begin their adventures. The on site atmosphere, including the lounge and winter garden, lends itself to relaxed meals or a quiet coffee before or after breakfast. The surrounding neighborhood also offers a variety of nearby eateries and traditional Turkish pastry spots, making it easy to balance onsite dining with local flavor during your stay. Family friendliness is a clear part of the hotel’s profile. The property welcomes guests of all ages and notes a maximum of three guests per room in its policy framework, which helps families plan accordingly. There are practical options for families, including cots and extra beds that are subject to availability, and one child under two may stay free when using available cots. For families traveling with children, these details help with budgeting and room layout, ensuring that comfort and safety are prioritized without compromising the historic atmosphere. The hotel also emphasizes reliable WiFi across all areas at no extra charge, a practical benefit for families and guests who need to stay connected while visiting a city renowned for its layers of culture. Relaxation and entertainment at the hotel come from the interior spaces devoted to downtime. The winter garden with a fireplace creates a welcoming setting for evening chats or a quiet moment after a day of exploration. The lounge area with classic furnishings invites downtime between excursions, offering a feeling of old world luxury without ostentation. While the listing does not propose a spa or pool, the emphasis is on intimate, comfortable spaces where guests can unwind, reflect on their day, and plan the next excursion in a calm, refined environment. The on site dining areas provide additional opportunities to savor a break in the day without leaving the property, and the surrounding neighborhood supplies endless possibilities for evening cultural experiences, including evening strolls past grand mosques and the softly lit streets that define Sultanahmet at night. Who is this hotel ideal for? This is an appealing option for culture seekers and first time visitors to Istanbul who want a strategic base within walking distance of iconic sights. It suits couples and solo travelers who appreciate a refined, quiet atmosphere after days spent wandering through history. Families with up to three guests per room can also find value in the thoughtful policies around cots and extra beds, as well as the family friendly welcome that the property communicates. The location makes it an excellent pick for travelers who want to immerse themselves in the heart of the old city, with easy access to Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and the surrounding historic districts. If you value a refined setting that respects heritage while offering practical amenities like free WiFi and breakfast, Celine Hotel Ottoman Mansion presents a compelling balance between charm and comfort in a city that rewards curious explorers.
