Guest Reviews
Location is good and the owner is friendly. Overall it’s a good place to stay with its room price.
Excellent location - a stone's throw from Istiklal street, 15 minutes walking from the airport shuttle stop on Taksim Square. The bunk was comfortable and I could place my belongings on top of the locker, which was nearby. There was an ensuite bathroom, so you always knew if it was free or not. Water taps, shower, etc. - in a decent condition.
Beds are super comfortable and the people that work they're are great.
Beautiful place
It was so great hostel. Pizza was so delicious 🙂
Super friendly and helpful staff, great location right in the center yet quiet!
The man who runs it is very friendly and helpful. Location is perfect. Room was clean, had AC. The only downside of this place is stairs- very steep, there's no elevator, and if your room is on 4th floor you have to put some efforts to drag it up there. I had not to do it as a man who rans this place helped me, which saved my back as my luggage was not light at all.
Incredibly friendly and generous people throughout my stay. Very flexible with my travel dates, offered to store some of my things when I left the city and planned to return again to the same place!
Wonderful spot in a great location. The owner is very kind and helpful. I am a single female traveler and booked into the mixed dorm, but he saw that it was only boys in there and set me up in my room for both nights. Lovely spot highly recommend!
Kindness and supporting of the host Ahmed, thank you for warm welcome, that was so pleasant to start my first time visit Turkey with your kindness. nice accommodation and location, people were nice, so many places around to eat and to take some coffee, air conditioner heated well so when it was cold outside it was warm enough inside
Wonderful bfast. Frendly staff.
Everything was really nice! The staff was extremely helpful.
Friendly and helpful owner! Location is also great.
The location
Very good location and great staff! Ahmed was really friendly and gave me good advice. Nice neighborhoods in walking distance. Would stay here again :)
Centrally located in Taksim and easy to find
Everything
Excellent location. Everything in Istanbul at your doorstep. The place is clean and tidy and the owner and his brother will make you feel at home and part of the family. Take all of his advice and recommendations and definitely reach out to him with any questions you have big or small, even just things like where to get bottled water for a reasonable price. I have stayed here twice now as has my sister and friends and we all love this place. Will definitely be back on any future trips to Istanbul. The pizza kitchen down stairs is also amazing and was the best pizza I had in Europe. The beds are comfortable and the rooms have air conditioning too. Showers are great too.
clean and comfortable
I couldn’t rave more about this place. Ahmet and his brothers were so amazing and very helpful. I booked 2 nights and ended up spending 11 nights in total. The bed was comfortable, showers hot, and the pizza down stairs was absolutely delicious. The location in Taksim Square was perfect to get to the metro and around the rest of Istanbul

About This Hotel
Chambers of the Boheme sits in the heart of Istanbul in the Beyoglu district. This small property is built for guests who want to dive into the citys creative energy while enjoying a comfortable and well equipped base. The location is central and lively, yet the property also offers a calm place to unwind after a day of wandering. You are never far from the action here, with Istiklal Avenue just 100 metres away and Taksim Square a short stroll from the front door. The neighborhood is famous for its bohemian atmosphere, vintage storefronts, and a mix of cafes, bars and restaurants that make street level life in this part of town so engaging. The area offers a mix of cultural sites and nightlife that suit visitors who want to experience Istanbul directly from the doorstep of the hotel.
Situated just 100 metres from Istiklal and 250 metres from Taksim Square, the hotel makes it easy to explore by foot. The building sits in a lively neighborhood known for its creative vibe, historic streets, and a broad choice of cafes, bars and small restaurants. If you love to wander, you can slip from the hotel into backstreets lined with boutiques and art spaces, then return to a calmer terrace or cafe space on site.
On site there is a bohemian cafe and a terrace that invite guests to linger over coffee or an evening drink. The cafe reflects the same laid back style you notice in the hotels name and the terrace offers a place to enjoy the city air as you plan your next excursion. Throughout the property you will find air conditioned rooms with free WiFi, a practical combination for modern travelers who want comfort without sacrificing convenience. The building is compact with 27 rooms, so service can feel personal and attentive, with a focus on a relaxed urban stay rather than an oversized resort experience.
Rooms are kept clean and simple, designed to provide a good nights rest after long days of exploring. The on site units are air conditioned and include free WiFi. The interior style blends bohemian charm with practical touches so guests can settle in quickly. While the data does not include detailed renovation notes, the emphasis here is on comfortable, up to date essentials that make daily life easy when you are on the move. Even with the compact footprint, guests enjoy a welcoming atmosphere and a level of care that suits travelers who value location above all else.
Food and beverage options are a highlight with on site bohemian cafe and terrace. The cafe serves as a social hub where you can start the day with breakfast options including Continental breakfast, and you can continue with light meals or coffee through the day. Free WiFi is available in all areas as noted by guest policies and reviews. The overall vibe caters to guests who want a relaxed setting after a day of city exploration, with easy access to Istiklal and the surrounding dining scene.
Family friendliness and activities. There is no capacity for extra beds or cots and children are not allowed. Check in is allowed only for guests aged between 18 and 60 and the maximum occupancy per room is four. These rules point to an adult oriented stay in a central location, best suited for couples and friends who want to share a stylish yet compact space in a prime urban setting.
Relaxation and wellness. The hotels strengths lie in easy urban living rather than a spa oriented retreat. A quiet terrace and the bohemian cafe give opportunities to unwind close to where the citys energy is at its peak. The surrounding Beyoglu district offers cultural sights, live music venues, and lively streets that come alive after dark. If you prefer a calming environment to rest after exploring, you will find that the rooms and common spaces offer comfort through air conditioning and a friendly, intimate atmosphere.
Who this hotel is ideal for. Chambers of the Boheme is ideal for adults who want a central, artistic base from which to explore Istanbul. It suits couples, groups of friends, and solo travelers who value a vibrant neighborhood, reliable WiFi, and a boutique atmosphere over a large chain property. If you are traveling with children, this may not be the best option given the policy about children and the maximum occupancy. In short, if you seek a lively, well located base in the heart of the city and a friendly, bohemian setting, this hotel fits well.
