Had a lovely stay at Marriott for a long weekend. The location was perfect as it was within a short walking distance to the train, and close to the Royal Mile, Castle etc. The staff were lovely and very helpful, reception were really kind and congratulated me on my birthday as well - making the stay feel a little more special. The room and facilities were clean and tidy, bed was comfortable. Would definitely come here again.

All staff were really lovely and very helpful, had an issue when our door lock broke, couldn't lock the door, called reception and within 5 minutes the guy from maintenance arrived to fix it

Edinburgh is a small city and the hotel’s location was within walking distance of everywhere in Old Town. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Even though we hadn’t requested an early check-in in advance, they accomadated us. The rooms were spacious and bright. The best coffe we had in the city was actually the complimentary coffee served at the hotel in the morning.

Good breakfast buffet, Jack was very helpful and attentive. Nice big sauna and 18m swimming pool. On-site car park in basement or across the road in Dynamic Earth. Big room with picture windows on 6th floor.
