Where to start.. great location for walking into town, along the river and close to restaurants. Jaqueline and Hugh were great hosts.. couldn’t do enough.. called cab to take us to Culloden Battle field and also a driver to take us around Loch Ness.. made for a fun day. . they were always interested in how our day went if we saw them. Angela greeted us warmly at breakfast each day.. great choices of cereals, fruit etc as well as hot food cooked to order.. mentioned we were on our 50th anniversary trip and were surprised with bubbly wine and huge chocolate bar that said ..huge congrats..nice chocolate mints as you come in front door..room was clean, roomy and by time finished breakfast room had already been serviced.. if we ever vome back would certainly stay here.. whole heartily recommend Eildon House.

If you visit Inverness, this is a great location. A nice easy 5-10 minute walk to the city centre and all the shops and restaurants. The room was very nice as was the bathroom! The hosts were wonderful. The breakfast was very good. Not sure I'll make it back to Inverness, but if I do I'll be staying here again.

Jaqueline is an exceptional host. From the moment we checked in we felt welcomed and comfortable. She has everything you could possibly need and more! Thank you for a great stay. Inverness is a wonderful stop. We wished we had stayed longer!

Friendly. Cozy. Felt like home. Went with a long time friend, and felt like we were having a slumber party. We loved it! Will stay here again. Mixed feelings about leaving such a great review because we don't want to compete with other visitors. ;-)

It is beautifully appointed. The furnishings are beautiful and welcoming. It was exceptionally clean and the breakfast was phenomenal. Fresh fruit and juices - hot coffee - cold dairy products plus cooked breakfast was served hot and on time. It was brilliant. Highly recommend.

We stayed two nights in this very cute guest house with a very kind and thoughtful host Jacqueline. The location is also great if you want to do the city by foot after a long drive across Scotland. We would definitely go back! With kind regards Nikita & Mathieu

Everything! The check in went smooth, the room and bathroom is huge (an electric shower and tv!), the breakfast is out of this world and more than enough (the porridge is very creamy!) and the staff (Jacqueline and other lady) is very friendly. We only stayed for one night buy instantly regretted it... 5 to 10 minute walk from the local pubs (The Castle Tavern, Highlander, Hootanney, etc).

Eildon Guest House is extremely cozy, in an excellent location, and served by the loveliest staff! We have never felt more at home. The breakfast was tasty, the house is just a 15 minute walk to the city center, the rooms were spotless and cozy, but the host was the best part of our stay. Jacqueline was such a treat and so hospitable!

Breakfast was a good variety, service was superb, and the location was good being close enough to downtown but just far enough away to not be noisy
