Well I didn’t really get to stay at the hostel as it was close during my visit but they had me to stay at Ayasoluk Hotel instead which has the same owner and it was an incredibly cute hotel. The room I stayed in was in a 2 single beds occupancy with a fridge, a locker and it’s own bathroom + toilet. The bed was very comfortable and LOVE the pillows! I slept so well! I honestly loved the hotel more than my supposedly main purpose which was Ephesus. Also loved their restaurant and the staffs are very friendly-Had great conversations with some of them. The owner also owns a carpet business and has a store downstairs which I didn’t get to explore sadly but I took a peek of it briefly tho and they were selling carpets and ceramics of what seems to be of good quality.
I was informed by the crew that the hostel was close, so because of this they would put me in a twin room in a hotel that they have close - where I stayed alone. It exceed my expectations not only because of the room, but also because of how friendly the team is, e.g. Yusuf and Iici are lovely persons and they will try their 120% to make everything work more than smoothly for you. Food is awesome, the view is awesome and everything else. If I was a millionaire, maybe I'd live there. =D Thank you!
Super clean and organised. Was told this is what European hostels are like.
They seamlessly arranged an airport pickup for me (price is 80 euros) . Cemal was such good company otw to the hotel. Gave me a brief background on Selcuk and pointing out all the orchards with the fruit trees. The hostel itself is very neat and clean. The building where you check in is a short walk from the actual hostel though. I lucked out that I was the only guest at the time in the ladies dorms so I had the room and the toilet all to myself. Bed was comfy and the pillow was so soft and divine. There are shoe cabinets under the bed. The rooms also have AC. The check in area has a very friendly cat and dog, which I think, is important to point out because they both wanted pets... Cemal also gave me a ride to Kusadasi for my boat tour for the taxi price 35 euros. Wifi is fast and there's a rooftop balcony you could chill on for dinner or breakfast. Kitchen is clean and functional with a water heater I was able to use to make tea and coffee. I was planning on checking out early morning before I went for a tour around Ephesus but no one was at the reception at 8am. So I just left my stuff in the hostel lobby, went for my tour and came back to pay for my stay. Very chill place. Very central. The Ephesus museum is just below. Train station is maybe an 11 or 12mins walk away . Ayasuluk hill/St. John's Basilica also a very short walk away. Would recommend for solo travelers who want a peaceful hostel.
The staff were discrete but available, with a lot of information for the guests. The room was perfectly clean and equipped. The bathroom was also super clean. The kitchen is well equipped too (just missing a microwave to make reheating easier :)) The location is perfect, near to everything you need in Selcuk. There is another place a bit fancier, 150 meters away, where you can eat if you want - you can even ask for the breakfast there.
A lovely stay, Yusuf and the team were very helpful. Good location and nice clean facilities.
Female dorm room: I was the only person in the hostel for my entire three night stay (during high season June)! Dorm rooms are a good size, have lockers, good AC, bathrooms are single (shower+toilet combo) large and clean, good wifi, hostel was very clean and great location, each bunk has a shelf/light/outlet, kitchen on the roof with filter tap water, some lounge space on the roof, a literal child checked me in late at night (the owner was out, his little cousin was waiting for me) honestly that kid was better at this job than most adults I've encountered while traveling, slightly off the main road so a little quiet, I am shocked this place wasn't packed it was such a nice stay!
This hostel is a gem - excellent location and facilities. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the place was very clean and spacious and the bunks were very comfortable. They gave a towel on arrival and there was also a tap for filtered water. Would definitely return.
Everything, very good location, close to all we need to see, restaurants and more, close to the bus that take you to ephesus so is perfect 👌🏻... The staff was excellent especially Yusuf, he was great, very helpful, explain you everything, take you around, making good conversation,, very friendly, he helped me with my bags to the bus, Even let me stay and keep my things after check out time. The facilities are very nice, everything clean and New, the beds very comfy and big, with your own light and curtains, in the room there's one locker for you, and my room has a balcony, also AC was working good. They also gave me towels, I am very glad to choose them for my stay in selcuk. 10/10. I will come back again.
I don’t usually choose hostels - especially in Turkey - because it’s rare to find beds with privacy curtains. But here, they’ve really thought things through. The men’s and women’s areas are on separate floors, and the fully equipped kitchen is located on the top floor with a terrace, which is a great bonus. There are several bathrooms on each floor, with showers and toilets combined in private, lockable units - a rare find! The area is surrounded by historical sites that are perfect for walking and exploring, and the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. A surprisingly comfortable and thoughtful stay )
Really nice modern hotel, clean facilities, comfortable, and the host Yusuf was exceptional! very welcoming and friendly, made my stay enjoyable ☺️ I would definitely recommend this hostel to any travellers coming to visit Ephesus!!
Well located hostel with excellent facilities. Mr. Yusuf is always willing to help.
Nice location. Centrally located. All key things are at a walking distance - such as train station, bus station. Tourist attractions are located near --> Ephesus museum, Basilica of St. John, Ayasuluk Hill and Castle, İsa Bey Mosque, the Temple of Artemis are located a walking distance. Eatiing places, groceries - located near. The property appears to be new, things are clean and nice. It is a quiet place. I enjoyed my stay here. If I come again, I would like to stay again at Yolo hostel. Thanks to Yusuf for all his kind and helpful service. I enjoyed my friendly chats and interactions.
Hostel owners responsiveness to an issue with my reservation. They were able to put me in top-notch hotel, down the street, owned by the same family. This is where I saw Turkish hospitality at its best, felt like family while staying there.
This was a great hostel to stay in - perfect location, nice rooms, extremely clean and the staff were wonderful. Yusuf was very welcoming and always happy to answer any questions I might have. Rojhat kindly offered to show me the souvenir/carpet shop at their sister hotel - I enjoyed being able to look at everything in a relaxed environment. Thank you!
New facilities, spacious rooms and big bathrooms! Handy location and very friendly staff, this place was great. The staff gave helpful advice on things to do and how to get around.
One of the best hostels I ever encountered. Everything was very clean and comfortable, the bus station, Ephesos Museum and some of the sights were only a few minutes away. Yusuf was very friendly and always ready to help with additional requests. I would totally come back next time.
Great location near the bus and train station. The facilities are really new and super comfortable. The rooms, bathrooms and share spaces were spotless, probably the cleanest hostel in Turkey. And just to make my experience even better the staff was super friendly, especially Yusuf that was always there to provide assistance. I highly recommend this place and I will definitively come back if I'm in Selcuk.
The hostel has spacious dormitory room with adequate sunlight. They have kitchen, rooftop and laundry service. Everything is nice and clean. Shower and toilet are separated which keeps the toilet always clean.and dry. Location is excellent, close to bus station, train station, shops, cafes and restaurants. Air conditioning and circulation is good even when the dormitory is full.
The nicest and cleanest hostel I have ever stayed in. Hosts lovely and welcoming too.
