The location of the hotel was very good. A fairly quiet street in the Sultanhamet area of the city within easy walking distance of the notable sights. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Our room (sea view) had a wonderful view of the Bosphorus, and we actually enjoyed hearing the call to prayer from a nearby mosque. The breakfast buffet was fairly extensive, with many Turkish options. There were also two good restaurants at the end of the street, with several more in the surrounding neighborhood.

Good service, very friendly staff, excellent breakfast with great views of the Sea of Marmara from the roof deck. Location in the Old City was close to tourist attractions, shopping and restaurants.

Everything about the Ferman Hotel was perfect- I do not have a single negative thing to say! It was the perfect place for us to stay during our 3 nights in Istanbul. The location was perfect, walking distance to some of the best sights in Istanbul, and also close to catch public transport to see some of the further sights. It was amazing being able to have views of the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia, and just on the other side, see ships coming in and out of the Bosphorus. In terms of location there is nothing more to want - a quick walk to the Sultanahmet Square on the one side, and the other side takes you down to the promenade you can walk along or catch a cruise along the Bosphorus from ! The staff at the hotel were incredibly helpful and friendly- always willing to help, and they gave wonderful recommendations and tips for what to see and how to get there. They went above and beyond to meet our every need! Special shout out to Omer who really is a gem and an asset to the hotel! The breakfast was exceptional- and we loved the views of Istanbul as we enjoyed the various selections of fruits , pastries , cheeses and other Turkish breakfast options. Make sure to go all the way to the top of the roof - although the hotel doesn’t do lunch or dinner, it’s a great place to relax and have a drink on as the sunsets, or even for a nightcap as you watch the city lights. The rooms were perfect - comfortable and spacious, good water pressure in the shower and everything worked great. Also just note that the annex isn’t in the hotel - it’s a separate building across the road . It is still just as great and you still have access to the rest of the hotel - so nothing negative, but just to be aware of for expectations!
