Guest Reviews
The breakfast was first rate. We requested help from the staff and they complied right away. The bathroom had ample supplies.
Difficult to charge restaurant meals etc to the room
Beautiful building and good location
The staff were all fantastic and very friendly. Many spoke English. When we mentioned concerns with our room(s) they moved us with no hesitation. The communal areas of the hotel are amazing, traditional / old style. Nice view of the Bosphorus from the dining/breakfast area. Great public transport links, but away from the busy centre of Istanbul. Friendly local shops and cafe's etc.
Such a beautiful and opulent hotel. The staff are lovely and very helpful. Clean and comfortable.

The views across the Bosphorus are a defining feature of the stay, offering a perpetual reminder of the city’s unique geographic position where Europe meets Asia. The hotel’s exterior and interior design embody a thoughtful blend of modern style with Ottoman and Baroque influences, creating a setting that feels both grand and welcoming. The sense of presence that comes with a waterfront setting is complemented by carefully designed interiors that reference classic architectural motifs while remaining comfortable for contemporary travel. The surrounding area is characterized by a peaceful, residential ambience, yet easy access to lively Istanbul life remains part of the experience. Guests who value a picturesque waterfront ambiance, quietly upscale surroundings, and easy proximity to the iconic Bosphorus will find this location particularly appealing. Beach and pool experience The property emphasizes its waterfront character and Bosphorus views rather than a traditional beach or resort style. While images highlight the water’s edge and outdoor spaces, the offerings are oriented toward enjoying the shoreline atmosphere, refined interiors, and indoor comfort rather than a large scale resort pool experience. Guests seeking a calm, scenic setting with water views will find the atmosphere highly appealing, while those looking for extensive pool facilities may wish to plan other options nearby. Rooms and renovation details The hotel provides air conditioned rooms and suites equipped with LCD televisions, ensuring modern comfort after a day of exploring the city. The interior design is described as a combination of modern, Ottoman and Baroque aesthetics, delivering a distinctive sense of character that blends timeless glamour with contemporary convenience. While specific renovation timelines are not provided, the overall ambience reflects a refreshed, stylish interpretation of historical inspiration that keeps pace with modern travel expectations. Food and beverage options A key strength of the property lies in its on site dining and social spaces. Photos and tags suggest the presence of a restaurant or places to eat within the hotel, complemented by a lounge or bar that provides a relaxed spot for conversation and reflection over drinks and small bites. Evening meals or weekend gatherings can benefit from the intimate setting and the potential for banquet or function style events, highlighting the property’s capacity to host celebrations or business gatherings in a refined atmosphere. The combination of water views, elegant interiors and thoughtful dining spaces makes every meal feel like part of a curated experience rather than a routine stop. Family friendliness and activities The hotel communicates a welcoming stance toward families and guests of all ages. Children of any age are welcome, and the property accommodates a small number of guests per reservation, with a stated maximum of two. While there is no capacity for additional beds, the property offers cots by availability and inclusions that may apply to child stays. Specific policies indicate that the number of cots and the use of existing beds may vary depending on the booking option, and certain costs apply for younger guests when using existing beds. This makes the hotel a suitable choice for couples and small families who value a quiet, stylish base with the flexibility to travel with children under clear guidelines. Relaxation, wellness and entertainment Relaxation centers around the serene Bosphorus setting, elegant lounges and the inner courtyard ambiance visible in some photos. The lobby and reception areas exude a refined hospitality experience, while the on site dining and bar areas offer avenues for socializing and unwinding after a day of exploration. The garden and outdoor spaces depicted in imagery add a touch of tranquility, inviting guests to enjoy the fresh air and scenic views. While there is no explicit wellness facility listed, the overall atmosphere emphasizes calm, sophisticated living and leisurely evenings by the water. It also suits travelers who appreciate boutique style, a refined interior language and the sense of staying somewhere with a story. Families who travel with children can find a welcoming base with clear policies in place, especially those seeking a compact, intimate setting rather than a large resort. Business travelers who value a quiet, stylish environment with on site dining and a meaningful location along the Bosphorus will also find the hotel appealing. Overall, the hotel is best suited for guests who prioritize location and atmosphere, enjoy refined design, and want a memorable waterfront experience in Istanbul.
