This place is such a find. It's at an ideal location close to cafés, restaurants, shops and Galata Tower, yet in a quiet street. It's even in (longer) walking distance to many major sites and museums. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff are super nice and helpful. They arranged a taxi pick-up from the airport which went very smooth. This was the second time we stayed here, and we definitely hope to be back.

The location was pretty good. The staff was friendly and answered our questions patiently. There were slippers, kettle, water, tea and coffee in the room. They were cleaning the room on time and each time a bottle of free water was placed. Also, the speed of the wifi was high enough.

The location is the best in Istanbul for tourists in my opinion, as it between Galata and Beyoğlu area. You can go walking to istiklal or Karaköy, it's very close. There is also the metro nearby and the bus stops. Definitely recommend. Also the staff is super friendly and makes you feel at home. They are always available and took care of our transfer from and to the airport.

The rooms were spacious, which I liked very much. The admin, Vedat was very friendly. Overall, it is a good place for an affordable price.

The hotel is in a good location within walking distance of lively areas and the old town. The room absolutely met our expectations, the staff was very nice and helpful. We will definitely come back.

Location was the best part - the room definitely needs a bit of freshening up but overall, fine if you just need to sleep. Receptionist was nice and helpful. Great area, loads going on as well and very well-connected via metro and buses. The funicular to Karakoy was super close by as well.

Great location, clean room, value for money, but it is the exceptional people that makes this hotel great for us. The owner(?) went above and beyond in helping us to find a hospital for vaccination when my son had a dog bite incident, and the day and night receptionists are both very friendly and helpful. Thank you so much, nice people at Galapera Hotel!
