A lovely guest house in Portobello and easy parking just outside. Our room was spacious and comfortable with an extra dressing room and lovely outlook to back garden. Quiet away from the hustle and bustle of Edinburgh but just an easy bus ride into Edinburgh. Our hosts Pam and Doug were very helpful on advising us how to get around and where to eat. There were a number of restaurants an easy walk away.

Wonderful guest-house in Portabello. A 20 minute or so bus ride from the Centre of Edinburgh and a short walk down to the beach. The room was huge and very comfy, the breakfast was lovely and set us up well for the day. Pam and Doug are great hosts, very helpful with tips of things to do. A really lovely place to stay a few days!

A very warm welcome, very good breakfast, nice location near bus stop with direct bus to centre of Edinburgh. When we arrived the owner did a tour through the room and beautifull house and had a lot of very good tips for eating and visiting.

Doug welcomed us into the property and showed us around the guest facilities and our room. Everything about the property was of very high quality and our room was particularly well presented. We met Pam when we came to Breakfast the following morning, and she gave us all the tourist information that we needed for a day in Edinburgh. Breakfast was continental style rather than cooked, which suited our tastes and we rather enjoyed.

The location was perfect, the room luxuriously furnished, the bed very comfortable. Pam and Doug welcomed us so warmly and helped with info about buses etc I to Edinburgh. We enjoyed being able to get away from the crowds in Edinburgh and retreat to this peaceful haven in the evenings.
