It was such a beautiful place, hosted by the very friendly and hospitable couple, Jim and Olga. They are incredibly kind and create such a warm, welcoming vibe. The place is very clean, well-equipped with quality amenities, and located in a peaceful, quiet setting. Highly recommended!

Good location, 20-25 min walk to Murrayfield and all Edinburgh sights. Comfortable beds. Fabulous hosts, nothing too much trouble. Nice breakfast of berries, yoghurt, juice , croissants. Tea, coffee and biscuits always available in communal dining room.

Courtesy, helpfulness, and cleanliness. The hosts were kind. The gentleman was very friendly. Breakfast was very good. The place was clean, very elegant, and well looked after. Perhaps the bathroom in our room was a bit small and narrow, but still well maintained.

This accommodation has the absolute WOW factor. From arriving it is superb! The hosts are wonderfully attentive to need and incredibly knowledgeable about the area and the history. The cleanliness of the rooms is beyond any rating and of extremely high standard! The breakfast .... Delicious and fresh as well as the presentation ....sublime experience! Wish we could have stayed longer. Next time. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Quiet and location. Clean and peaceful

The House is beautiful and very special. James and Olga are just lovely and so helpful, but let us have enough personal space and privacy. The bed was very comfortable, we slept like babies. We also really enjoyed the delicious breakfast.

We had an absolutely amazing stay with James and Olga. They both took great effort in making my 50th birthday unforgettable. The food (and birthday cake) were amazing! Olga has a superb talent for detail and is very attentive, and James is a brilliant and very entertaining host and tourguide! We both felt very welcome and spoiled rotten!
