Location and staff
Unforgettable stay at Good Night Hotel! We stayed at the Good Night Hotel in Istanbul, in the heart of Sultanahmet, and our stay was truly unforgettable. The hotel is located in the old city, just a few minutes’ walk from all the main attractions. The tram stop is only about a 3-minute walk away and takes you almost everywhere in the city — to Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, Eminönü, Galata Tower and more. You can also reach most of these places on foot in about 10 to 15 minutes, which makes the location perfect. The area around the hotel is very safe — we always felt comfortable even when walking back late at night. Our room was very clean and comfortable, and the housekeeping staff cleaned every day. We met Karima, who was always smiling, friendly and very helpful. The reception staff were also extremely helpful and provided us with all the information we needed, both in the morning and in the evening. We especially remember Omar, who works during the day — he was always kind, friendly, and very helpful. We would also like to thank the hotel manager, Mr. Mahmoud, who was equally polite and arranged a taxi transfer to the airport for us. Another highlight of the hotel is the rooftop terrace, which offers an amazing panoramic view of the Bosphorus and the whole city. It’s a wonderful place to relax, take photos, and enjoy the view — and it’s also a great spot for those who smoke, as smoking is allowed there. We highly recommend Good Night Hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul. Excellent location, great service, and wonderful people. Our rating: 10 out of 10! 🌟
Prime location
Everything was cool, I would definitely get back there or at least recommend this place to people who come to Istanbul. The location is the best, close to everywhere. The stuff is amazing, very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is very warm and you can talk about casual things as well, not only where something is on the map so it is a big plus especially if you are traveling alone 😀
The staff was very helpful and friendly, especially that guy who helped us with almost everything. I am very grateful for him.
Very good location, very nice and helpful staff, easy to access to Grand Bazar, Hagin Sophia Mosque , Blue Mosque
We had a wonderful stay! The room was spacious, clean, had AC, and had a great view from the balcony. The location of the hotel was brilliant, 10 minutes walk from everything and super close to a tram stop. The best part of our stay however was the staff! Right from the get go they were super helpful and warm. They recommended us several great places to eat which we kept going back to throughout our stay in Istanbul. Their recommendations were the best places we ate on the trip! They were super proactive and helpful, including with tips for the next part of our trip.
The owner/ staff were really friendly people! The location is amazing and it is pretty good deal money = value. I recommend it with two hands!
This hotel provides a great value for the price. It is an amazing deal. The location of the hotel is great and the guys at the reception are incredibly helpful. I also found the bed to be very comfortable.
The staff was very friendly and I wanted a noise free room , so I enjoyed being there. The market was near, and traditional food was available .
The location is perfect, main places within 10 min walking, they also have a terrace with a great view and special mention to the reception guy (we forgot to ask his name) but he was super nice and helpful with us!!
I really recommend this hotel! The staff were incredibly nice — they kindly allowed us to store our luggage at no extra charge while we traveled to Cappadocia for a few days. The location is great — close to major attractions, public transportation, and plenty of food options nearby. The room was also spacious and clean, which was a big plus for us. I highly recommend this hotel, but I would suggest booking an airport transfer, especially if you have luggage, as the walk involves a bit of an uphill climb. You can arrange the transfer directly with the hotel.
The staff is amazing, they are very welcoming and helped us with any requests. The hotel is in a Great location, very comfortable and accessible neighborhood to restaurants, stores and especially close to the sights like the blue mosque. The terrace at sunset was a wonderful start to the evening. 😀
Helpful staff and very good value for the money, got upgraded as a generous gift from the managment :)
Stuff was very friendly and always interested do we have any questions and needs. That was very thoughtful from their side. Best thing was that they managed to clean our room every day- every day we had fresh towels and fresh sheets abd room was as new. Overall for that price it was nice hotel.
The most important person in the city when travelling alone is the recepcionist !! To hear Good Night at midnight was great but early in the mornings Omar was there smiling and answering so many questions. When my friend came, he said I've got you a sorprise !! He is more than 10 !! So cute ! So nice to stay there !! So funny to hear from Elegante, Wanda Nara and obviously Icardi being so far from home. I only have the photo of Omar and my friend !!
Excellent location, walking distance to all the attractions in the centre of the old city,

About This Hotel
Good Night Hotel Istanbul sits in the heart of Fatih, the historic district that anchors Istanbul’s most storied experiences. It is a compact, three star property that offers a simple, well located base for travelers who want to walk to iconic monuments and soak up the ambience of old Istanbul. The English description emphasizes its proximity to Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern, and the Column of Constantine, with Blue Mosque and Basilica Cistern about one kilometer away and the Column of Constantine roughly 400 meters from the door. This convenient location means you can rise early to explore the city before the crowds and return for a relaxing afternoon break or an evening stroll through the neighborhood. The hotel is listed with a specific address on Emin Sinan Mahallesi Pertevpaşa Sokak No 38, 34126, placing you in a quiet street that still puts you near the city’s most photographed sights. For travelers who value a central setting that minimizes transit time, Good Night Hotel Istanbul is a compelling choice in a city that rewards early starts and patient wandering. Inside, the hotel presents a boutique style through its 18 rooms. The property’s modest size creates an intimate atmosphere that many guests associate with a home away from home while traveling. Guests can expect a straightforward layout with rooms designed to accommodate short breaks during an Istanbul stay. The property’s photo gallery highlights bedrooms and bathrooms, and some images indicate balconies or terraces as well as potential sea view opportunities. While the data does not list a long menu of on site amenities, the visual assets suggest comfortable sleeping spaces and well maintained bathrooms, all of which contribute to a convenient and relaxing stay after a day of sightseeing. The presence of a wardrobe and other typical room features is suggested by the gallery and related image tags, reinforcing the sense that these rooms are prepared to support a restful night after busy days in the city. A key advantage for families and groups is the property’s family friendly policies. The hotel welcomes children of all ages, and there is emphasis on flexibility for families with cots and existing bedding options. However, some points require attention: the maximum number of guests per room is two, and the hotel does not offer extra beds. Cots are subject to availability, and there is a specific note that the number of cots and the occupancy in existing beds may vary depending on the option booked. For guests with younger children, this means it is important to check the room configuration during booking to ensure it matches your needs. The property makes clear that there is no capacity for extra beds, and that all cots and extra bedding are subject to availability. If you are traveling with a child, be prepared to confirm the available arrangements for cots and bedding as part of your booking. For guests who value connectivity, the property offers free WiFi throughout all areas. This is a practical benefit for travelers who want to stay connected while exploring Istanbul, whether you are coordinating plans, sharing photos, or checking maps and local recommendations. The hotel also clarifies an age requirement for check in. The minimum age for check in is 18, a common policy in many urban properties that helps ensure a responsible guest profile for the building’s quiet and shared spaces. Check in is possible from 14:00 until 23:30, while check out is by 11:30. These times provide a helpful balance for travelers who may arrive late after a day of touring or prefer a relaxed morning before heading out to discover more of the city. Language support at the property includes a number of widely spoken languages, signaling a welcoming environment for international guests. The hotel lists English, Italian, Russian, Turkish, and Ukrainian among the languages spoken by staff or understood by the team. This linguistic mix can make communication easier when you need tips on local sights, dining options, or travel arrangements. The overall guest sentiment toward the property is strong, with a high review score across multiple categories and a particularly strong performance in location and staff friendliness. The publicly available data shows a solid overall rating and a notable strength in location related feedback, which aligns with the property’s stated proximity to major historic landmarks and the energy of Fatih. From a guest perspective, Good Night Hotel Istanbul appears to be an ideal pick for travelers seeking a central, historically enriched base in Istanbul. It is well suited for couples and small groups who want a comfortable, uncomplicated stay in the historic heart of the city while keeping transit time to a minimum. The intimate size, consistent guest feedback, and the emphasis on a practical, well located experience make this property a strong option for visitors who prioritize location, ease of access to major sights, and a reliable base for daily excursions. The three star rating reinforces that this is a practical choice that balances comfort with affordability in a city that rewards exploration and curiosity. Ideal guests for this hotel include travelers who want to minimize travel time while maximizing time on foot among Istanbul’s most famous landmarks. It suits couples who appreciate a quiet street setting yet want to be within easy reach of the Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern, and other historic highlights. It also appeals to families with children who are planning to explore during the day and retreat to a compact, comfortable room at night. The property’s policies and layout suggest it favors smaller parties, with two guests per room as the standard limit and transparent guidelines on cots and beds. For anyone who values free WiFi, clear check in and check out times, and a location that prioritizes proximity to iconic sites, Good Night Hotel Istanbul delivers a solid, dependable choice in one of Istanbul’s most evocative neighborhoods.
