Ahmet is the nicest person, very friendly, very helpful, very attentive. The hotel is a great value, it’s not fancy, but it’s more than adequate. Very good location to the old town.

Great location in the heart of Sultanahmet area. Backs onto the bosphorus and our family room had a back patio which was great for a quiet sunny spot. Ahmet our host was one of the friendliest, most helpful people we've met. Nothing was a bother and your happy warmth made our stay! Simple accommodation but great value for money. Washing machine a bonus.

The owner/host is one of the kindest men you will ever meet. He made our stay comfortable and was there to assist us when we needed help. The location is very close to all of the major sites. There is a very good restaurant next door. The tram is also quite close if needed to access other parts of the city. We also enjoyed breakfast each morning.

The location is unbeatable—just a five-minute stroll from Old Town, the Hippodrome, the Blue Mosque, and only a short walk to Hagia Sophia—perfect for sightseeing. What truly made our visit exceptional was the owner, Ahmed. He was incredibly warm, helpful, and generous throughout our stay. Every morning, he prepared a delicious homemade breakfast that felt like a special treat. He also kindly offered us a later checkout, which made our departure so much more relaxed. Our room was spotless, well-maintained, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed—it felt both clean and comfortable. In summary, Happy Suites offers a seamless blend of prime location, heartfelt hospitality, clean accommodation.I highly recommend it and I'll gladly stay here again if I have a chance.

Ahmet is a lovely host. Always cheerful. He makes a delicious breakfast. Our room had a fabulous water view. It’s located very conveniently in Sultanahmet near a train station. We got the shuttle bus from the airport which terminated nearby, so great location. This is a budget room in a great location for a a good price. The shower and hot water worked well. There’s aircon which we needed as it was incredibly hot in Istanbul, though we could open the windows so at night not need the aircon. There’s a table and chairs which was nice to have. Despite the central location, it was very quiet. We couldn’t even hear people in other rooms.

Very well located. The owner is VERY nice. He brings breakfast in the room. Make sure you are accurate with your arrival time because he does not stay all day at the hotel.

We had only couple days in Istanbul. Location was a must for us. This hotel located in the middle of everything we needed. I was also very happy with the transfer. We paid $90 both ways. The taxi in Istanbul is overpriced, so it was a good deal. We also had a little breakfast in the morning, and my daughter loved the Turkish tea.
