We are for the third time here, so we like it. It's clean and the staff is friendly and welcoming. It's not new and posh, but the location is perfect for the Asian part. The street is quiet. And they have a parking lot in the backyard

Tony 8.0

Good comfortable place

Flash 9.0

Amazing location, very friendly staff and a very quiet and safe area close to hip and cute cafes up in Yeldegirmeni... convenience shops everywhere and even a hamam with a sauna close by!

The room was relatively clean. The heating works. Free tea in the lobby. The staff at the reception was very helpful, they provided me with a spare key to the room when I forgot mine at my friend's.

Tarmelina 9.0

If you need to go to the airport early in the morning, the location is excellent! I arrived late, it was not a problem, receptionist was very kind. I could even see a piece of the Bosphorus from the window of my room. It's nice that there was water in the refrigerator

Artem 8.0

Clean room, hot water, good value for the money, great location. 24/7 check in / check out.

Eugenio 9.0

The hotel is in a great location, 10 minutes walk from Kadikoy ferry terminal and metro station. The same metro line gets you to and from Sabiha Gokcen airport in a hour so it can be very convenient if you are flying from / to there. Moreover, Kadikoy is a the best place to stay, far from the horrible crowd of tourists on the European side and still a very lively neighbourhood plenty of coffee shops, bars and restaurants. The majority of people around are young locals and the atmosphere is very relaxed, especially in the morning, where everything is calm and quiet but still populated and happy.

Jasmien 8.0

Place was clean and well kept. Close to all amenities. Staff friendly

About This Hotel

Haydarpasa Hotel is a compact, 16 room property tucked into Istanbul’s Asian side, in the Kadiköy district. Its simple, well kept spaces set the tone for a practical stay in a city that moves at a brisk pace. The strongest selling point is its location. You can reach Haydarpasa Train Terminal in about 450 metres and the ferry port in roughly 300 metres, placing you in the heart of cross city and cross water connections that make exploring easy. The surrounding Kadiköy waterfront area is animated and convenient, which is exactly what many travelers want from a base in Istanbul. Guests consistently rate the hotel highly for location and the friendliness of the staff, a testament to the personal service that comes with a smaller property. There is no on site beach or pool listed with this hotel. The focus here is on practical comfort and a convenient base for city days and short maritime hops. For those who imagine a seaside stay, the rising activity of the harbor neighborhood and the easy access to water are part of the experience, even if the property itself does not offer a swimming facility. This makes Haydarpasa Hotel a sensible choice for travelers who prioritise location and ease of transport over resort style amenities. Rooms at Haydarpasa Hotel are air conditioned and come with free WiFi, ensuring a comfortable climate and connectivity after a busy day of sightseeing. The property emphasizes straightforward, dependable accommodation rather than lavish decor. With 16 rooms, the atmosphere is intimate and unpretentious, which helps staff deliver reliable, attentive service. While renovation details are not specified, guests can expect clean, well maintained spaces designed for restful nights and simple, effective comfort. Check in begins at 14 00 and check out is at 12 00, providing a clear rhythm to your day. On site private parking is available for guests at a modest daily rate of four euros, which is a welcome convenience in this busy area where street parking can be challenging. The hotel does not accommodate pets, so plan accordingly if you are traveling with animals. The maximum occupancy per room is three, underscoring the property’s compact, family friendly footprint and its focus on cozy, shared stays rather than large group bookings. Dining details are not listed for the property, so this stay is about a practical base rather than a full service dining experience. If you are looking to dine in, you may want to explore Kadiköy or nearby areas to discover the variety of local options that suit your tastes and budget. The listing does not indicate on site restaurants, but it provides a dependable lodging option that keeps your day flexible and affordable. Family friendly policies are clear and traveller oriented. The hotel welcomes children of any age and sets a maximum of three guests per stay, which helps preserve a comfortable, intimate environment. A cot is available on request and is subject to availability. There is no capacity for extra beds, which is an important detail for families planning a larger group. For younger children, one child up to two years old can stay free when using available cots, and one child up to seven years old can stay free when sharing existing beds. Children eight years and older are charged as adults. In addition, private on site parking is available for four euros per day and pets are not allowed, which contributes to a calm, controlled setting for families traveling with little ones. From a guest experience perspective, Haydarpasa Hotel performs well in several key areas. The property earns high marks for location and staff, reflecting a reliable level of service and a sense that guests are looked after. The value is also strong, with good WiFi across all areas and practical room features that meet the needs of short city breaks or longer urban stays. This combination of proximity to major transport hubs, a compact and comfortable room stock, and a friendly, responsive team makes the hotel especially appealing to travelers who prioritise ease, efficiency and a good price point over luxury amenities. Who is this hotel ideal for? It is a smart choice for couples and solo travelers who want a convenient base in Istanbul with quick access to trains and ferries. It also suits small families who need a simple, affordable option in a vibrant neighborhood with plenty of life and energy around Kadiköy. If you value a friendly, efficient staff, a strong location and the flexibility to explore the city with minimal fuss, Haydarpasa Hotel deserves serious consideration. This is not a luxury resort, but a dependable and approachable option for a real world Istanbul stay where you can wake up close to transit links and plan your day with confidence.
