Guest Reviews
A lovely guest house with an exceptional host, comfortable beds, and a sweet garden. The hostess had our rooms ready for an early arrival, gave us a full overview of city highlights, bus and restaurant recommendations and offered her phone number in case we needed assistance while out and about. I’ve stayed in several guest houses in the neighborhood and the level of hospitality here is incredible! In terms of location, there are several bus stops close by, a well stocked minimart across the road and a friendly coffee place just down the street.
Very comfortable place to stay, you can feel like at own home
The property is well presented and is only miles walk to the city
Very tidy, well maintained. I really can’t fault the property.
Beautiful rooms, and safe neighborhood away from all the business of downtown. Bus options make it easy to get around.
Excellent warm friendly hosts. Maggie and Kate are very approachable and informative. Felt very Safe, homely, comfortable bed, gorgeous decor, super clean, easy access to buses
Great location. Had everything provided for our stay. Room and ensuite excellent.
Everything!!!
Spotlessly clean and really convenient to the city, great value for money
The property is beautiful and Kate so welcoming and helpful. Well located for ease of transport into the city. Exceptionally clean, beautifully decorated and comfortable Will definitely stay again
Good location with plenty of parking and only a shortish walk into town.
It has been lovely to come back here one year later my first trip in Edinburgh, where I slept in this marvellous Guest House already once. For this reason when I got the availbility I booked immediately again to be cuddled in this welcoming and cozy structure. I want to thank Kate for the virtual assistance and Maggy and Gordon for the little chats we had the first and the last day I have stayed. The Guest House is in a quiet area close by the Edinburgh city center, you could take lots of buses to get the beautiful Royal Mile and the other great places the city offers. I've again loved the kindness, the cleanliness and the complete bath set with a bathrobe too and free still Scottish water in bottle and biscuits everyday. I hope to enjoy Edinburgh and the Guest House in the future again.
Lovely comfy and clean room
Beautiful house, very clean, excellent toiletries and tea/coffee choices in room. Bed lovely and comfortable, shower good. Location quiet and a few minutes walk to bus stop with buses every few minutes. map with hand written notes on bus numbers and routes which we took everywhere. Hosts very welcoming with nothing too much trouble. If we come back to Edinburgh will definitely stay here again. Highly recommend
Top Guest House!
Everything was perfect,The location ,the hosts,very clean, 10 out of 10 .
Clean, accessible. Excellent service and support
The room was a double and two twins, plenty of room to spread out and a bow window making the space light-filled. The bathroom was pristine with everything one could need. Maggie worked through the map and bus routes with us, so we were all set for 3 days of Edinburgh adventure. Truly, truly, we would stay nowhere else. Hope "next time" comes soon.
Location was great. City is walkable and close to bus stops
Friendly and passionate owner, comfortable room, convenient location
