Staff and location
Wifi, location and the staff
The staff are very nice and provide the best services.
The location is very good you have many possibilities to reach the destinations from there by bus or metro. There are several stations in front of the hotel such as Fatih emniyet (metro) Oguzhan, Bezmialem, Fatih Ticaret Lisesi and it is also easily accessible on foot. The staff are friendly and always ask if everything is in order. The rooms are clean and are cleaned regularly. Water, tea, kettle & fridge are available. Small but nice room just enough. Nice furnishings. You could make small restorations like the wallpaper which hangs a bit, the fridge is not cold enough. I was happy with my stay. It has a mosque nearby for those who pray. Fatih Sultan Mosque - Fevzipasacaddesi (for shopping) & Yavuz Sulta n Selim Mosque & Haliç & Balat & Aksaray & Beyazit & Sultan Ahmet Mosque & Eminönü etc. are all easily accessible. Thanks.

About This Hotel
Hotel 1453 sits in the heart of Istanbul’s Fatih district on Molla Gurani Mah Zaviye Sokak. It is a small ten room property that feels intimate yet well connected to the city’s iconic sights. The street address places guests close to historic routes and local life, offering a feel for everyday Istanbul while still providing a welcoming retreat after a day of sightseeing. The property is ideal for travelers who want a central base from which to explore one of the world’s most storied cities, with a homely atmosphere that makes every stay feel personal rather than corporate. Location and surroundings are the calling cards here. The hotel is positioned to put you in striking proximity to key landmarks while still letting you wander through bustling streets that reveal the neighborhood’s authentic rhythm. Distances are a helpful guide for planning your days: Suleymaniye Mosque is about 2.7 kilometres away, the Spice Bazaar roughly 3.5 kilometres, Galata Tower around 4.5 kilometres, and the Blue Mosque about 4.8 kilometres. This means you can craft an itinerary that blends grand monuments with lively markets, scenic viewpoints, and quiet corners where you can pause to soak up the atmosphere between sightseeing sessions. For guests who crave a vivid sense of place, the Fatih setting offers a sense of old Istanbul alongside modern life, with narrow lanes, coffee spots, and small eateries showcasing local flavor. Be prepared for a practical, city oriented stay rather than a resort style experience. The listing does not show an on site pool or direct beach access, which is worth noting for travelers seeking extensive resort facilities. Instead the appeal rests on location, easy access to major sights, and the chance to wake up to city views. Free WiFi across all areas keeps you connected whether you are planning your day in the lobby, catching up with family, or sharing memories with friends back home. The overall feel is one of convenience and comfort in a city that thrives on discovery. Rooms and renovation details are not described as a grand renovation project, but the presentation emphasizes a clean, contemporary look designed for comfort in a compact footprint. The hotel operates with ten rooms that are shown in the image gallery through a variety of layouts. Photos highlight beds and sleeping areas, living room spaces, dining nooks, and occasional views that hint at different perspectives from the property. Several images indicate garden or street views, which adds a welcome dimension to staying in a bustling urban core. While specific renovation dates are not listed, the overall aesthetic communicates a well maintained, modernized guest experience that respects the building’s character while offering practical, comfortable accommodations for travelers. Food and beverage options are suggested by the image gallery and property notes. The gallery includes references to Breakfast and Food and drinks, which signals that guests can expect simple dining options associated with the stay. The presence of non alcoholic drinks in some image tags also points to a casual approach to refreshment that suits a city break. In practice, you can anticipate a straightforward dining rhythm that supports long days of exploration without demanding elaborate meals. The combination of light dining cues and close proximity to a variety of neighborhood eateries means you can easily tailor meals to your schedule without sacrificing convenience. Family friendliness is a notable strength for Hotel 1453. The policies state that children of any age are welcome, which makes the property accessible for families and multigenerational groups. The maximum occupancy is three guests per room, with room for one extra bed and no capacity for cots. There is a clear note that six years and above will be charged as adults when staying, which helps families plan budgets and expectations in advance. While the property does not advertise extensive kid focused facilities, the neighborhood setting and accessible layout provide a practical, city centered stay that can be ideal for families who want to immerse themselves in Istanbul together. Relaxation and entertainment at Hotel 1453 come from the atmosphere rather than from a dedicated wellness or nightlife program. The city itself is the main source of energy, offering vibrant markets, historic mosques, and atmospheric streets that invite evening strolls. The property provides a serene retreat with city views, comfortable rooms, and reliable WiFi that allows you to unwind with a show, a movie, or simply plan another day of discoveries. There is no mention of on site spa facilities, so guests often turn to the surrounding neighborhood for wellness experiences, inviting cafes, and riverfront vistas that are part of the natural rhythm of a Istanbul visit. Who is this hotel ideal for? Hotel 1453 is a strong pick for travelers who want a central, authentic base for exploring Istanbul’s historic core. It suits couples seeking a convenient location with memorable city views and easy access to iconic landmarks, as well as small families or groups who value a compact, value oriented stay and enough space for up to three guests per room. If you prioritize proximity to sites like Suleymaniye Mosque, Spice Bazaar and Blue Mosque, and you prefer a property that emphasizes location, reliable WiFi, and straightforward dining cues over resort style amenities, this hotel offers a practical, comfortable option with a sense of place. The Fatih address adds to the experience by placing you amid centuries of history with a modern touch that makes a city break feel seamless. Practical details that help with planning are clear. Check in from 14 00 and check out by 11 00. The listing notes that credit cards are required and WiFi is free across all areas. The property is not pet friendly and there is no capacity for cots, with a maximum of one extra bed allowed and a maximum of three guests per room. The location makes it easy to step out and explore the immediate surroundings, while the nearby sights offer a rich calendar of daytime visits and evening strolls that define a memorable Istanbul stay.
