Hotel Miniature – Ottoman Mansion

The location, staff and high quality of the hotel.

While an old building, everything has been updated with modern, efficient, well working facilities and appropriate cultural decor. Rooms are much smaller than expected, but accurately described, including sq. ft., and adequate. As mentioned, all staff are extremely courteous and helpful, including a fantastic restaurant recommendation right around the corner! There is a small bit of street noise until early evening, but never bothered us, and we tend to be sensitive to that. The location couldn't be better and terrain in the area is fairly flat, especially for Istanbul! The importance of this can't be underestimated! One of the most appreciated things is the comfort of the bed!! After a pretty gruelling almost 24 hour journey from the US, I can't say enough about how good it was to lay down and feel like we were on a very supportive cloud!! We both tend to have back, hip and knee problems but after a very comfortable good night's sleep on this bed both our bodies and minds felt rested and refreshed! Breakfast was very good, with the only negative being that there is too much food and I felt so guilty about so much going to waste every day. Since it is a set menu, maybe they could just have check boxes for the things you actually want that day. It is nice to have the opportunity to try all of the different things, but after the first day about 75% was left uneaten. I toiled for months about which hotel to choose, but feel we absolutely got it right!

Perfect location and easy to find with public transportation from the cruise terminal. The staff were helpful and friendly. Nice breakfast with a variety of items. Comfortable bed with pillow menu.

Location, decor, staff, check-in

Perfect location — just steps away from all the major sights. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast was delicious and varied: fresh fruit, different types of eggs, a great selection of cheeses, pancakes, and croissants. Our room was beautiful and very comfortable, and we especially enjoyed relaxing on the rooftop terrace with its amazing view of Hagia Sophia. I also accidentally left something in the safe after check-out, and the hotel kindly sent it back to me — truly exceptional service! Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Istanbul.

We loved the miniature hotel, great location for all the big tourist sites and also located very close to the sultanahmet tram stop which provided access to many other neighbourhoods in the city. Our room was very comfortable and quiet at night, ensuring a good sleep. The breakfast was superb, couldn’t be better. Reception very helpful with ordering taxis etc.

The room was very clean and met our needs. The staff always friendly and courteous. Thank you all for the birthday cake you presented to my husband during breakfast.

The Turkish breakfast was very abundant with fresh food and the cook would make hot eggs as well. The location was close to restaurants and a 5 minute walk to Hagia Sophia.

Location, room style, personnel available at all times

Located in the Sultanhamet area, it was so easy to find and see Istanbul's amazing sights. Our room was larger than we imagined, and the shower was amazing! Breakfast was incredible, the food just kept coming, and it was all delicious.

Beautiful room with good facilities

Huge room which is clean and bed very comfortable. Complimentary food and drink in the minibar (top shelf). When we arrived, we were given a thorough overview of the area and the key attractions .. really helpful. Excellent experience at the hotel - definitely recommend!
