Hotel Nena

Great location, excellent breakfast & very friendly staff.

We were met by Aziz who made us feel welcome immediately, he was polite, courteous and extremely helpful. The rest of the staff including Aytuk and Mehmet were also very helpful and great to talk to. Whatever we needed from reception was provided swiftly and the staff made us feel very special. The facilities were spotless and the location absolutely perfect if you want to see the 3 main attractions of Istanbul, all within walking distance of a few minutes. Some members of our group had mobility issues, so the staff were kind enough to offer use of a lift that went a floor further down - this was a great help. All in all we had a great 3 nights at Hotel Nena and would not hesitate to come back.

Although Istanbul's old town is an area of ​​cobblestone slopes, the hotel's location was excellent and it was very convenient for sightseeing and dining. The room was a little small, but it was clean and I had a very comfortable stay. The staff were also kind, and the fun conversations I had with them are one of my fondest memories. I would definitely stay at this hotel again when I visit Istanbul.

Istanbul is a vibrant city that never sleeps. Our stay at Hotel Nena was exceptional. Azziz, Erkan, Mehmood and Solmas are very friendly and welcoming. Felt like home away from home

We couldn't ask for more! Amazing buffet breakfast, there is everything you can think of, very clean hall, breakfast room and room. We had a wonderful room with view on Blue Mosque and Sea (The best view of Sultanahmet) The service is superb. The reception staff and bellboys were so nice especially Aziz was extremely helpful for tips for restaurant public transportation and tours. We felt like home.

Warm friendly staff make you feel like family and make you happy. We got a room upgrade to one with balcony and we love it. Love the modern design and wood flooring. Breakfast rolls, croissant, eggs, cereals, lots of cheese, juices and coffee & tea. The dining area is nice and there is a glass roof over it. Walk to Sultanahmet Tram stop, and all the other attractions. We had a good rate for the dates we stayed.

The hotel was very cozy,quit,and clean. The staff were extremely helpful and polite. I loved how they treated their customers with respect and always had a smile on their faces.

Hotel manager Aziz was absolutely a wonderful man and a phenomenal resource for the city. Everyone in hotel bent over backwards to help us for a number of tasks both in the hotel and assistance in the city. His arrangement of a tour guide was exceptional and became a great friend as result. The hotel had great location in the old town. The breakfast was simply amazing, best in all of our travels, exceptional and that's an understatement. The quality of the breakfast was home cooked, fresh and very wide variety. We have had breakfasts in many hotels in our travels and nothing compares. We highly recommend the Hotel Nena and will definitely return here when in Istanbul.
