Lovely suite with own balcony and sea view! Delicious breakfast with home made pastries and local products. Friendly staff. Central location on old town. Within walking distance of main attractions like Hagia Sofia. The neighborhood is lively, but it was interesting to follow the events.

Lovely hotel, well situated, with old world charm and character. Would be a great place to either read or write that long forgotten novel

Have stayed many times and as always the Staff are wonderful, the rooms are small but comfortable & breakfast on the roof terrace is lovely. 3 minute walk to Grand Bazaar & the Metro ( direct route couple of stops to blue mosque & hagia Sofia & Galata bridge) Lots of little restaurants around ( food street ) for traditional Turkish food & grills.

The rooms were a good size. The staff were very kind. I like the policy for refilling water to use less plastic.

A complete treasure of a hotel. The staff could not have been more welcoming, hospitable and helpful. Anything you need booking, they’re on it; and their recommendations for restaurants, hammams and so on were spot on. We were greeted with tea and Turkish delight on arrival, and the rooms were comfortable and clean. There was a comfortable area for sitting in the lobby. The breakfast (all vegetarian) was delicious (have included some pictures!) The internet was good, and excellent water pressure in the shower! Great location for transport, or walking around, but in a fairly quiet street.

My travel companions and I thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast each morning—it was a great start to the day. The hotel’s location is excellent, just a 5-minute walk to the Grand Bazaar and within easy walking distance (30 minutes or less) to all major attractions south of the Galata Bridge, including the main mosques. We also made good use of the T1 tram line to reach the Galata Bridge and explore a few stops beyond. The staff were exceptionally helpful and polite, always available to answer questions and assist with bookings. They even arranged taxis at the standard local rates with no mark-up. The Wi-Fi connection was strong and reliable throughout our stay. A great experience overall!

We liked the overall "Turkish" feeling of the hotel. The decor and old photos of Istanbul were lovely. The staff were friendly and so helpful. The location was great - easy access to the Grand Bazaar, money exchanges, restaurants/fast food, etc. - all within easy walking distance. The upper deck was lovely - with a great view of the ships on the Bosphorous. The breakfast was also great!

Like staying in a classy hotel on a stop on the old Orient Express! Wonderful checkin with Ege with hot tea and turkish delights. The hotel manager introduced himself and gave us a contact card if we ever needed anything, day or night. Had a junior suite with a hamam... highly recommended! The rooftop bar was a sight to behold.. and staffed 24 hours a day. Oh, and the breakfast was fantastic.

About This Hotel

Hotel Niles Istanbul is a warmly run family property set on a quiet street in the Beyazit district. The friendly atmosphere comes from years of family ownership and a commitment to guest comfort, which shines through in the careful upkeep of the property and the attentive service you receive from staff. This is the kind of place that makes you feel at home while you’re away from home, with a simple, effective approach to comfort and convenience that suits both short city breaks and longer stays. Location and surroundings matter here. The hotel is just 300 metres from Beyazit Tram Station, offering quick access to central Istanbul’s sights while keeping you away from the bustle of busier streets. A short, easy walk brings you to Grand Bazaar, one of the city’s iconic historic markets, where you can browse spices, textiles and local crafts. The Beyazit area is rich with atmosphere, and the hotel’s setting on a quiet street makes for restful nights after days spent exploring the surrounding lanes, mosques, and courtyards. For travellers who value being able to move around the city with minimal fuss, Hotel Niles Istanbul is a smart, well connected base. Rooms and comfort form the core of a good stay here. The property offers 42 rooms, designed to feel welcoming without fuss. The guest rooms shown in the photos reveal practical layouts with beds, seating areas and televisions, and many units include coffee and tea facilities as well as air conditioning. This combination of conveniences supports both short visits and longer stays when you want a comfortable space to unwind after a day of sightseeing. The attentive house staff aim to keep rooms tidy and functional, which matters when you are moving between late nights in the city and a early start the next day. Balcony and sea views are teased in the on site imagery. A selection of rooms feature a balcony or terrace, and a few rooms are presented with sea view potential, adding an extra layer of appeal for guests who want to wake up to a touch of outdoor ambience. While the hotel focuses on city hospitality rather than resort style facilities, this option can enhance the overall experience for guests seeking a little extra atmosphere during their stay. Food and beverage play a clear supporting role in the stay. Breakfast is available as part of the room offer, with options noted as buffet breakfast in the hotel’s image set. There is an on site restaurant and other dining venues within easy reach, so you can enjoy meals without venturing far from the hotel. In addition to the dining rooms, there are lounge and seating areas where you can relax with a drink or a light bite. This arrangement suits travellers who prefer the convenience of a place to eat within the hotel and nearby options to explore the local culinary scene. Family friendliness and practicalities are clearly a focus. The hotel welcomes children of any age, and policies outline how additional arrangements such as cots and extra beds operate. The maximum number of guests per room is five, and there is a limit of one extra bed and one cot where applicable. For those travelling with little ones, it is helpful to know that all cots and extra beds are subject to availability. The property also notes that children aged 18 and above are charged as adults, which is a common approach in city hotels. WiFi is available in the rooms and is free of charge, ensuring you stay connected during your stay. Relaxation, wellness and quiet evenings can be found in the hotel’s lobby and common areas. The lobby and reception spaces are designed to be welcoming, offering a place to sit, chat and plan your day. The presence of seating areas and a garden or patio vibe in the photo gallery hints at spaces where guests can unwind after a busy day. Although there is no explicit mention of spa facilities or organized entertainment, the overall ambience is calm and inviting, ideal for travellers who value ease and comfort after exploring a historic city. Who is this hotel ideal for? It is a particularly good choice for travellers who want to be close to Istanbul’s most famous markets and historic sights while staying in a family owned, friendly setting. It suits couples looking for a central base with easy access to public transport, families seeking a straightforward and accommodating option, and solo travellers who appreciate attentive service and practical room setups. If you prefer a calm, city centre location with friendly hosts, reliable WiFi, and on site breakfast, Hotel Niles Istanbul offers a compelling combination. In short, Hotel Niles Istanbul combines a warm family atmosphere with a superb location, practical rooms, accessible dining options and easy transport links. It is well suited to explorers who want to immerse themselves in Istanbul’s markets and historic districts while enjoying a comfortable, unpretentious home from home during their stay.
