Amazing hostel in a very cozy and hip alternative neighbourhood in Istanbul. The staff is very friendly, and it is very easy to befriend others staying in the hostel. The vibe is very social and nice.
Really well located and friendly hostel. I stayed at a private room in the other building, just in front. Room was big enough and comfortable. Bathroom was shared, but not super busy. The social area is super nice. Amazing garden, space to work, kitchen and living room. They were also super kind and kept my backpack while I was traveling around. Location is perfect, super close to the port, but also close to so many nice bars and restaurants. Very authentic place!
Great location and helpful staff. The showers and rooms were clean. And the general vibes were laid back.
I saw some reviews that the hostel is dirty but I stayed there for 4 nights I didn't find it dirty not super clean but wouldn't really complain maybe i have a low standard i've stayed worse, everything was fine the location is good in general volunteers were kind as well
Great location in Kakidoy, with a garden patio out the back. We were travelling with bikes and able to leave them safely in the garden during our stay.
The location is really good, a 2 min walk to the Kadikoy waterfront, surrounded by good options for food and really hip cafes, the istanbul cats chilling at the entrance is always a bonus. The ayrilik cesmesi metro station is just a 8-9 min walk. Safe to walk around at late night, 10/10 location.

Prime Location, Minor Flaws This hostel has an excellent location, just a short walk from cafes, restaurants, and all forms of public transport—including ferries, buses, and the Metro—making it easy to get around. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We also enjoyed the lovely garden area, which was a great spot to eat meals made in the communal kitchen. Room Comfort and Amenities For me, a good night's sleep and a great shower are key to a good stay. The shower was fantastic—it was hot and had great pressure, which was a definite plus. However, the rest of the room's comfort was a bit mixed. The bed, while big, was quite hard, and we had to ask for bigger sheets as the ones provided were too small. The curtains were thin, letting in a lot of light, and a flashing green light on the ceiling was a bit distracting. While we didn't hear any loud external noise, the air-conditioning unit in the room was louder than we'd have liked, though it did keep the room nice and cool.
Good location Nice stuff Turtles in the yard :) Good company of other visitors

This is a property that benefits from a welcoming neighborhood atmosphere combined with straightforward access to ferries and public transport, ideal for travelers who want to experience Istanbul as a living, breathing city rather than a single tourist hub. Inside the property the design centers on comfort and practicality. There are 44 rooms that have been arranged to suit a range of needs, including modern dorms and private options. The accommodations are described as having either shared or private bathrooms, offering flexibility for budget travelers as well as those seeking a bit more privacy. With free WiFi available throughout the hostel, guests can easily stay connected while planning days out or winding down in the evenings. The presence of a large garden gives guests a usable outdoor space to enjoy sunny days, while the Bosphorus view rooftop terrace becomes a focal point for relaxation at any time of day. Whether you are catching up on emails, chatting with new friends, or simply taking in the water views, the outdoor areas provide a simple, restorative backdrop to a busy travel schedule. From a room perspective the property emphasizes practical comfort. Modern dorms and rooms are designed to be straightforward and functional, offering clean lines and essential amenities that matter to travelers on the move. The available bathroom options are described as shared or private, which allows guests to select a setup that matches their budget and privacy preferences. While the description focuses on the basics, guests can expect a dependable level of cleanliness and comfort that supports a convenient and affordable stay in a bustling city environment. Food and beverage options are not highlighted as a fixed on site restaurant in the description. The listing does show a variety of photo gallery elements that depict dining related scenes and social spaces, which suggests a hostel environment oriented toward communal experiences. In Kadikoy you will also find a rich array of eateries, from casual cafes to traditional Turkish options, all offering a chance to sample local flavors just steps from the door. The property itself remains a practical base for exploring the neighborhood’s dining scene, with the option to prepare quick meals if needed in rooms that feature kitchenette styled spaces in some of the images, although the core description emphasizes dorms and private rooms with bathrooms rather than a full on site kitchen facility. Wellness, relaxation and light entertainment appear as part of the overall guest experience through the property’s social spaces and outdoor areas. The rooftop terrace provides a relaxed vantage point for taking in the Bosphorus atmosphere as the city moves from day to night. A spacious garden invites guests to unwind in natural light, offering a quiet alternative to crowded urban streets. While explicit wellness facilities like a spa or gym are not listed, the setting itself fosters a sense of calm and a friendly, social vibe that many travelers associate with hostel stays. Evening moments captured in the imagery hint at a lively, communal atmosphere where guests share stories and recommendations after a day of sightseeing. This hostel is ideal for budget minded travelers who still want comfort and a memorable sense of place. It appeals to solo travelers seeking connection in a social setting, as well as groups of friends who want to stay together without breaking the bank. The family friendly policy allows children of any age, which makes it a potential option for families who prefer a compact, affordable base near the water rather than a larger, more formal hotel. It is important for families and groups to note the maximum guest limit of eight and the lack of capacity for extra beds or cots, a factor to consider when planning longer stays or larger parties. In short, Hush Hostel Lounge combines a practical, value oriented approach with a location that highlights one of Istanbul’s most picturesque waterways. The Anatolian side base, the garden sanctuary and the Bosphorus view rooftop terrace all contribute to a stay that feels both authentic and easy to coordinate with day trips and experiences across the city. This is a solid choice for travelers who value location, simple comfort and a social atmosphere that makes exploring Istanbul a little more spontaneous and a lot more affordable.
