Way overpriced for what you got. Not a lot better than a Premier Inn which are a lot cheaper.

The Christmas decorations were beautiful, the breakfast was plentiful and the service at the bar was excellent.

About This Hotel

Located in the heart of Manchester, Innside Manchester by Melia sits right in the city centre on First Street. This is a hotel built for modern city living, with bright colours and contemporary décor that give every space a fresh, inviting feel. Its central position makes it easy to stroll to key areas, shop along bustling streets, and sample the array of dining options just steps from the lobby. For guests arriving by train, Deansgate and Oxford Road stations are within a five minute walk, making onward travel straightforward whether you are here for business or leisure. The property is well connected to the wider city and its many attractions, while still offering a calm, comfortable base after a day of exploring or meetings. The setting is practical for guests who value convenience, quick access to transport, and a location that puts the best of Manchester at their doorstep. The hotel is designed to support a busy urban lifestyle. On arrival you are welcomed by a lobby that blends functional space with a stylish, relaxed atmosphere. Throughout the property, the emphasis is on comfort and usability, with a contemporary colour palette and clean lines that feel current and welcoming. The on site facilities are crafted to support both work and play, whether you are catching up on emails in the lounge area, unwinding after a day in the gym, or enjoying a meal and a drink in the restaurant and bar. The building and its interiors reflect a modern, energetic vibe that suits solo travellers, couples and groups alike, while still feeling approachable for families seeking a practical yet stylish base in the city. This is an urban hotel without a pool or direct beach access, and it focuses on city centre convenience and wellness rather than a seaside resort experience. If you are seeking relaxation after a day in the city, you will find a dedicated gym and a sauna at hand. The property also offers spa and wellness facilities to help you recharge, along with a communal lounge area where you can unwind with a magazine or catch up with fellow travellers. For those who value productivity on the road, reliable WiFi and spaces designed for quiet work are part of the package, complemented by meeting and conference rooms should you need to host colleagues or clients during your stay. Guest rooms embrace a modern, well considered design. The description highlights contemporary décor and a bright colour scheme, and in practice you will notice a clean, uncluttered look that creates a calm resting environment. The beds are a central feature, presented with a tidy, comfortable appearance that invites a good night’s sleep. Many photos in the hotel’s gallery suggest a thoughtful layout that includes a seating area or living space within the room, a separate bathroom, and a practical flow from entry to sleeping zone. Bathrooms appear to be well appointed, and the overall mood of the rooms is one of contemporary comfort rather than opulent luxury, which makes the hotel an attractive option for guests who want a stylish yet stress-free base for their Manchester visit. Dining at Innside Manchester by Melia centres on convenience and quality. The property hosts an onsite restaurant and bar where you can start the day with a breakfast option described as buffet style in some places within the property’s materials. The dining spaces are designed to be flexible, allowing guests to dine informally in the restaurant or enjoy a drink and light bites at the bar. The menu focus is on accessible, well prepared comfort food that travels well from a busy morning into the afternoon and evening. The photos show a variety of food and drink settings, from casual dining to more relaxed lounge style atmosphere, underscoring that guests have a range of options to suit their schedule and mood. Family friendly policies are clearly stated, with children allowed in the hotel and the maximum occupancy per room listed as four guests. The hotel notes that all cots and extra beds are subject to availability, and there is no capacity for additional beds beyond what is allowed by policy. Specific guidance indicates that one child up to two years old can stay for free when using available cots, which can be a helpful detail for families planning a city break. Pets are also welcomed, with a note that charges may apply depending on the booking and policy in effect. These details demonstrate a flexible approach to family needs and travel with pets, while maintaining clear limits to ensure comfort and safety for all guests. Wellness and entertainment options are integrated into the guest experience. In addition to the fitness centre, sauna and spa and wellness facilities, guests can take advantage of a lounge area for quiet time or socialising, and there are meeting spaces for business guests. The property’s design supports relaxation after a busy day of meetings or sightseeing, and the inclusion of a communal lounge adds a social dimension that many travellers appreciate when staying in a new city. Overall, Innside Manchester by Melia is an ideal choice for travellers seeking a practical, stylish city centre base with solid wellness and dining options. It suits solo travellers who want convenience, couples who prioritise design and atmosphere, families who need flexible space and policies, and business travellers who value meeting facilities and a comfortable, efficient environment. For anyone looking to immerse themselves in Manchester’s urban scene while enjoying reliable on site amenities, this hotel delivers a confident, well balanced stay.
