Guest Reviews
Great location, large family room, comfortable beds and hot shower. Friendly staff, decent breakfast, the family room was in the building next door to the hotel, away from the main road, so the room was quiet. There was a minaret right outside our window, but we really enjoyed listening to the call to prayer (even at 6.30am!). Excellent value for money.
All ok
I like the hotel the staf was really friendly cener was in the reception so good ,i really like it so comfortable and clean the best location is Beyazid close to everything
We loved the room and hotel location. Perfect to get around to the main site seeing spots.
The place was just like it was shown in the pictures. Comfy beds. We had the deluxe quadruple room. It has had 2 rooms, one with queen bed and the other room had 2 twin beds. The staff was very friendly and nice. It's location is very central. Our hotel was about 17 min walk from the Blue Mosque. This hotel is close to the tram, buses and subway. Lots of food options around.
Breakfast was very good, the staff were very nice with a smile except one person (Timur) Caner, Hamza & Samtt were very helpful and nice from day one till check out
Location and staff
The best hotel in Istanbul and the closest to all facilities. It needs no introduction. I advise you to visit it because it is the best in all aspects. Thank you, staff
The hotel staff is very helpful, with attentive listening and great friendliness in their service. I would especially like to highlight Mr. Taimour, who is very kind, full of energy, and always ready to give advice or provide assistance.
I liked this hotel because it was very well positioned to the commercial area, tourist attractions , access to the metro nearby.

About This Hotel
Istanbul Town Hotel sits in a practical, well connected spot on Ordu Caddesi in Beyazit, placing guests in the heart of Istanbul’s historic peninsula. The address is more than a waypoint; it is a gateway to the city’s most iconic sights, markets, and atmospheric streets. This is a refined base for travelers who want to step out and be within easy reach of centuries of culture, cuisine, and everyday local life. The surrounding neighborhood blends residential charm with bustling bazaars, easy transit routes, and countless photo opportunities along the way. Guests benefit from a compact, human scale property that keeps you close to the action while offering a calm retreat after a day of exploring the area’s medieval lanes and vibrant squares. Position matters here and it shows in the hotel’s proximity to landmarks. Suleymaniye Mosque, Hagia Sophia and the Grand Bazaar are among the sites described as being within easy reach, which makes a day of sightseeing straightforward and efficient. The Beyazit district itself adds an atmospheric layer to a stay with its local markets, historic buildings, and a sense of stepping into an authentic Istanbul experience. For guests who want to combine culture with convenient access to dining, shopping and transport, this location is hard to beat. Beach and pool experiences are not listed among the hotel’s facilities, which signals a city stay rather than a resort break. This is a property designed to anchor a day of museums, mosques, and markets. Guests who prefer to relax after a day on foot can unwind in the hotel’s common spaces, including a lobby and a communal lounge area where friends and families can chat, read, or plan the next day’s adventures. The setting invites an organic rhythm of urban discovery rather than poolside lounging, and the surrounding streets offer a continuous stream of cafés, bakeries, and practical amenities typical of a central historic district. The hotel presents a straightforward, comfortable room experience. There are 40 rooms in total, a size that supports a personal, attentive atmosphere without the feel of a sprawling chain. The imagery suggests a practical, modern approach to guest rooms with a focus on essential comfort. Some rooms feature a kitchen or kitchenette, which is a real plus for travelers who appreciate flexibility in meals or prefer light cooking after long days of walking. You may also find living and seating areas within the room types, allowing guests to spread out, relax, or enjoy a quiet moment with a cup of tea or coffee after sightseeing. In terms of sleep quality and bedding, the photos emphasize comfortable avenues for rest with well made beds and a calm, uncluttered ambience. The presence of dedicated seating areas and, in some instances, Loveseat style arrangements suggests spaces designed for personal downtime or small gatherings after a busy day. While the property does not advertise a dedicated renovation program, the visual cues from guest room photography indicate a modern, well cared for interior that balances practicality with a touch of contemporary style. Food and beverage options at Istanbul Town Hotel are grounded in convenience and daily routine. Buffet breakfast is featured in the listing and is shown in multiple hotel imagery, signaling a structured start to the day with a variety of options to suit different tastes. The availability of a kitchen or kitchenette in several rooms also provides a practical alternative for guests who enjoy a self catered approach to meals or prefer a relaxed morning routine in their room before heading out to explore the city. These elements together give guests flexibility, whether they want a quick, efficient breakfast or a more personal, home like morning in their own space. Family friendly features are reflected in the hotel’s guest policies and room configurations. The maximum number of guests is 5, with the policy indicating that there is no capacity for extra beds beyond what is already provided. Children older than 12 years are welcome, which makes this property suitable for small families or groups with older children who want to share a compact, comfortable base. A maximum of one cot is allowed, and no extra beds are listed as part of the standard offering. For families and groups planning a city break, the combination of central location, compact suites with kitchen facilities where available, and flexible room layouts offers a practical, economical solution for staying together in the heart of Istanbul. Wellness and entertainment at the property are framed by shared spaces rather than on site spa or resort facilities. The lobby and communal lounge areas provide a relaxed setting to unwind. The various photos reveal seating arrangements and a living room style ambiance where guests can linger, chat, or plan the next day’s route through the historic quarter. The presence of a dining or buffet setup, combined with kitchen facilities in some units, adds to the sense of a warm, home like environment after long days out. Free WiFi is available in all areas, which is essential for guests who want to map routes, check museum hours, or simply catch up with family and friends while traveling. This hotel is ideal for travelers who prioritize location, convenience, and a genuine city experience. History lovers who want to be steps away from Suleymaniye Mosque, Hagia Sophia and the Grand Bazaar will appreciate the walkability and proximity that define this property. Culture seekers who plan long days exploring narrow streets, markets, and historic mosques will find the base comfortable, practical, and easy to navigate. Couples seeking a romantic, urban stay with the energy of a living city can enjoy the intimate scale and nearby attractions that fuel spontaneous discoveries. Small families or groups looking for a compact, affordable base with in room cooking options and shared lounge spaces will also find this hotel a sensible match. In summary, Istanbul Town Hotel offers a grounded, city focused experience in a historic district, with easy access to Istanbul’s top sights, practical room options including kitchen facilities, and thoughtful touches like buffet breakfast and free WiFi. It is a strong choice for travelers who want to immerse themselves in the culture, food, and daily life of Istanbul while staying in a central, easy to reach location that reduces transit time and enhances exploration.
