The attentiveness of staff to our needs especially that we were bumped off the first night because of some government event that was beyond the hotel's control. They make sure we were well taken cared off with a relocation to a hotel operated by Marriott and then once back at Marriott, they provided comfortable service at every turn to manifest their gratitude and appreciation of our patience.

Conveniently located right on the Kordon Promenade with impressive views of the bay and beautiful sunsets, the Marriott Izmir has everything a traveller would want, including a rooftop pool and bar area. Staff is kind and helpful. Especially, Ms Deniz Degerli, the Guest Relations Supervisor, is a huge asset to the hotel. In the Lima Restaurant, young Fevzi asked me to mentioned him, when he served me a delicious mushroom pizza and a glass of excellent local Urla Chardonnay on my last night.

Great location on the water and close to the Grand Bazaar. Staff were absolutely wonderful. They found out it was my husband’s birthday by over hearing me say Happy birthday at breakfast and so we got 2 cakes to celebrate. Very attentive and kind people. You could ask for anything and they would do their utmost to accommodate. Very impressed.
