Lovely breakfast and super friendly hosts. Fantastic location, we could see the top of the tower from our bedroom window. Decor and furnishings were clean and of the style you would expect from a traditional B&B.

Situated within a 10-minute walk of Blackpool’s promenade and Central Pier, Kirkstall sits on Hull Road, just minutes from the coastline and the buzz of the seafront. The FY1 4QB postcode places you within easy reach of local tram and bus routes, while remaining close enough to stroll to the main attractions along the piers and the sea. Being so near the promenade means beach days are straightforward and relaxed. You can dip your toes in the sea and return to the hotel for a cool drink or a quiet moment in the lounge. While the listing does not mention an on-site pool, the seafront location makes it easy to enjoy the seaside atmosphere and a leisurely stroll along the water’s edge after meals or before sunset. With ten rooms Kirkstall keeps a simple, practical approach. The data does not indicate recent renovations, so guests should expect a classic style that focuses on comfort and functionality. Photos of bedrooms suggest tidy spaces with comfortable beds and an overall clean presentation. The emphasis is on restful nights and straightforward, no surprises accommodation, rather than boutique upgrades. On site dining is not described in the listing, and there is no mention of a restaurant or cafe within the property. Guests should plan for meals at nearby options along the promenade and in the surrounding area, which Blackpool is famous for. Breakfast arrangements are not specified in the data, so travelers may want to prepare for self service or local dining options. Families are welcome at Kirkstall, with policies noting that children of any age may stay. The maximum occupancy is four guests, and there is no capacity for extra beds or cots. This makes the property a good choice for small families or groups traveling light. The friendly atmosphere and proximity to family friendly attractions on the seafront provide a convenient base for days out with kids. Guests looking for a simple place to unwind will value the complimentary WiFi and the generous lounge area where conversations and quiet moments can be enjoyed. The hotel does not advertise a spa or wellness centre, so the focus is on comfortable rooms, a relaxed social space, and the convenience of being close to Blackpool’s entertainment options along the seafront. This is an ideal option for couples seeking a budget friendly, well located base near the sea, friends travelling together who want an easy two or three night stay, or families with children who plan to spend most days outdoors exploring the promenade and pier. If you prioritise location, value, and a straightforward stay with reliable wifi and a welcoming lounge, Kirkstall Guest House delivers. With its central position, warm welcome, and practical facilities, Kirkstall provides a dependable Blackpool base that supports a busy holiday plan without unnecessary fuss.
