Kumluk Konak Hotel

It was within walking distance of everything we wanted to see. It was very convenient for food and groceries. The staff was very nice and we were able to use the washer and dryer which worked out great for us.

My stay at this hotel was amazing from the first to the last minute. The staff is available 24/7, and everything is very clean. The location is excellent, and the room is beautifully styled—it felt like I traveled back in time to Turkey many years ago. I highly recommend it. The room has everything you need, including a fridge. If you book a transfer, it’s much cheaper through the hotel than at the airport. Internet! They provide all the information and support you need throughout your stay. The room is cleaned every day.

The location is superb. If you take the right route, Kumkapi trainstation is a five minute walk. Hagia Sofia and blue mosque are also in a walking distance if you are even in modest shape. There is a pretty big hill to walk up. Restaurants, shops and supermarkets are basically next to the hotel door. You can even find good local favored breakfast restaurants in small alleys close to the Kumluk Konak Hotel. The owner is a very helpful and friendly person. He gave me a bigger room upstairs and the price/quality was great. You just have to understand that if the price is under 50 euros per night in Istanbul, you don't get Dubai-luxury with that. For a traveller like me Kunluk Konak Hotel was a great choice.

The host was very friendly, helpful and flexible. The location was superb, all the sightseeing was within a short walk, around the hotel were plenty of restaurant, and the seashore is reachable easily. On top of all that the room was for a good price.

This hotel is totally value for money

The staff was great! I recommend asking them for help with a ride from the airport (they'll send a video). We tried to do this by ourselves, but got scammed (the driver took an extra long route). The was tight at times (we had the smallest room available for 2 suitcases). Excellent price for the room for 3 nights.
