With five rooms, it offers an intimate setting where personal service and a quiet, easygoing atmosphere can make a seaside break feel effortless. This is a property for travelers who value a friendly, unfussy base from which to explore a popular coastal town. Location is a clear strength. The house sits at 8 Brunswick Terrace in Weymouth, placing guests within a comfortable stroll of Weymouth Harbour. From there you can soak up the waterfront atmosphere, watch boats come and go, and enjoy the nearby buzz of harbor life. The property is also a short distance from Weymouth Marina, about 1.1 km away, and Sandsfoot Castle is roughly 2.6 km away for day trips with a bit of history and coastal scenery. The surrounding area is easy to explore on foot, making it convenient to combine sightseeing with relaxed meals and seaside strolls. Inside, the focus is on practical comfort. Each of the five guest rooms features a flat screen TV with cable channels, providing simple entertainment after a day of exploring. The accommodations are designed to be easy to use and welcoming, offering a straightforward base rather than a showy hotel experience. If you value a clean, comfortable room with reliable television access, this property delivers. Check in is available from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm, while check out is from 6:00 am to 10:00 am. This schedule helps guests plan a day around Weymouth’s harbourfront and nearby attractions. A key policy to note is that the minimum age for check in is 25, which tends to attract a more reserved, adult-oriented crowd seeking a relaxed stay rather than a party environment. WiFi is available in the rooms and is free of charge, allowing guests to stay connected as they plan activities, check ferry timetables, or share travel moments with friends. Public parking is nearby, but spaces cannot be reserved in advance and charges may apply. This is a common arrangement in Weymouth and suits travelers who prefer to move around on foot or by local transport. Family considerations are clearly addressed in the property policies. The maximum occupancy is three guests per room, and there is no capacity for extra beds or cots. For guests booking options that include children aged 3 to 14, up to two children may stay for a supplement of £35 per child per night when using existing beds. Children older than 3 are welcome, while those aged 15 and above are charged as adults. For those planning a stay with children, it is important to add the ages of children to see accurate prices and occupancy information. Dining information is not listed as an on site option, so guests typically explore Weymouth’s many nearby cafés and restaurants. The town’s waterfront and harbour area offer a range of choices within a short stroll, making meals easy to arrange without relying on an in house restaurant. Performance and guest sentiment are strong. The property holds a superb overall rating, with particularly high marks for location and service. Guests repeatedly praise how easy it is to reach the harbour and marina areas, along with the warmth and attentiveness of the staff. The wifi and overall cleanliness also feature prominently in positive reviews, reinforcing the sense that this is a reliable, comfortable base for a coastal break. In practice, Lichfield House suits travelers who want a practical, unfussy base from which to explore Weymouth. The five rooms create a compact, intimate atmosphere that works well for couples, small groups, or friends traveling together.
