Good location. Staffs were friendly and helpful, especially Mr Can who served me at the reception, the service he provided was way more than I expected. He solved most of my problems and made my trip smoother. The bellboy was good as well, he always wore a warm smile and provided me advice enthusiastically.

The location was excellent. All walking distance to main attractions, Eminuno metro M2, Sirkesi T1 and railsystem Sirkesi to Istanbul Asia or SAW airport. The best experience is the hospitality and friendly personnel. John, not sure of the spelling is a very friendly guy. Very good communication skills and engaging in any conversation. Polish your french, it is an advantage. They all assisted us with a smile. Karim is also friendly and 2 other guys. Breakfast has everything we need to start the day. Maybe to some is not enough, yet to us it was all good and complete. The room was always clean, well, we kept it clean. In the 5 nights we stayed, we got fresh towels as often as we are at home. The room has space enough to go around the bed and small space is easy to cool. The bathroom is a very good size. Space enough to dance while in the shower. Aircon worked fine. Our room was on the quiet side of the bldg, and that pleased me because I am a light sleeper. Nice decor. There was a cooler/fridge and a safebox. We got complimentary 2 bottles water daily. The location is in a corner of the better streets around Sirkesi. Wide streets but not too crowded. Restaurant on the ground floor of the building, restaurants across the streets and everywhere. Thanks to the personnel, our stay was made memorable. We enjoyed the brief chats with you.

We stayed in a Deluxe Twin Room (307). The room was quite large, very clean and well kept. The bathroom was a very good size. Air conditioning was very good. The hotel staff were excellent. Nothing was a problem to them. Always there to help. Special mention must go to the Reception Team. Yasin, Selver, Humay and the bell boy were all excellent. I would stay there again. The free breakfast was a bonus in the beautiful breakfast room. The location of the hotel was excellent, five minute walk to the tram stop and railway station. Most of the major sights were a 10 minute walk away. Lots of lovely food restaurants to choose from within a minutes walk from the hotel. Highly recommend. Also, five minute walk to the boat tours and ferries. Thank you.

About This Hotel

Located in the Fatih district of Istanbul, Meserret Palace Hotel sits in a compact historic building on Hoca Paşa Mahallesi Ebussuut Caddesi No 51. The neighborhood around Sirkeci is steeped in centuries of trade and culture, with cobblestone lanes and traditional shops lining the street. Guests stepping outside will feel the pulse of a living city where centuries of history meet modern cafés, markets and easy transport links. From this central position you can set out on foot to some of Istanbul’s most iconic monuments, or jump on a nearby tram to reach other neighbourhoods with ease. The closest anchors are the Hagia Sophia and the Spice Bazaar, both within walking distance. Hagia Sophia lies about 850 metres away, inviting early morning or late afternoon explorations, while the Spice Bazaar is around 450 metres from the front door, a short stroll through a lively, aromatic street. After a day of wandering through the old city, you can return to a quiet, intimate base that still keeps you in the middle of the action. The hotel itself sits among a mix of residential streets and historic façades, offering a simple, authentic Istanbul experience rather than a glossy resort vibe. The building and interiors present a classic, refined look that respects the city’s heritage while delivering essential comfort. Guest rooms are framed by a warm palette, and photos across the property highlight living areas, balconies and terraces. The impression is of thoughtful spaces designed to feel welcoming after busy days of sightseeing. While renovation details are not specified, the arrangement of beds, seating areas, wardrobes and in room conveniences suggests a layout built for practical city breaks, where travellers can relax and recharge before another day of discoveries. Beach lovers will not find a seaside pool on site, and the listing focuses on the experiences you can have in Istanbul itself. There is no private beach mentioned, which is common for a historic city centre property. Instead you get the chance to combine cultural immersion with comfortable accommodation and a strategic base for exploring the surrounding waters, historic sites and neighbourhoods. For guests who value proximity to landmarks, the enjoyment of a stroll along the waterfront and the ability to return to a peaceful room at the end of the day, Meserret Palace Hotel offers a practical solution. Food and beverage options are reflected in the imagery available for the property, with buffet breakfast appearing repeatedly in previews. You can expect a morning spread that includes coffee and pastries along with hot options, depending on the day. In addition to breakfast, there are indications of on site dining spaces and lounge areas where guests can relax with a drink or a light bite after a day of exploring. The presence of a lobby or reception lounge and a dedicated dining area in some photos hints at a pleasant setting for casual meals and social moments within the hotel. Room comfort is a key feature here. The 27 rooms are shown with king or twin beds, living areas and seating spaces, and in many cases a dedicated sleeping zone connected to a living zone. The photography also features televisions and multimedia setups, which point to modern entertainment options. Air conditioning is visible in several image tags, as is a wardrobe and in room storage. A balcony or terrace is sometimes visible, offering a place to enjoy fresh air and city views. Some images even indicate a minibar, which adds a touch of convenience for longer stays. While exact room renovations are not detailed, the consistent emphasis on comfort and practicality makes these spaces well suited to urban adventures. In terms of family travel, the hotel presents a more adults oriented policy. The data includes several statements about children not being allowed and no capacity for extra beds or cots. The maximum occupancy per room is five guests and check in is available from the age of 18. For families with children, this property may not be the ideal choice, but for adults seeking a city centre retreat with easy access to top sights and markets, it offers a straightforward, cost effective option. Relaxation and entertainment come from the hotel environment itself. Lobbies, lounges and bars shown in images suggest comfortable spaces to unwind, share a drink and plan the next day. The location fosters a calm, intimate atmosphere that contrasts with the bustle of the surrounding lanes. The hotel’s proximity to major attractions means you can structure days around sunrise visits to historic monuments and sunset strolls along the water. Nightlife and dining options are nearby, allowing guests to enjoy Istanbul after dark without long transfers. Who will love this hotel? Culture enthusiasts and solo travellers who want a well located base in the historic centre of Istanbul will appreciate the proximity to Hagia Sophia and Spice Bazaar. Couples seeking a quiet, characterful boutique style will find the atmosphere relaxed and the access to sights rewarding. Those who value reliable WiFi, practical rooms and straightforward dining options will enjoy the balance Meserret Palace Hotel offers between location, comfort and affordability.
