Mukarnas Taksim Hotel

We enjoyed our 4 day stay and the breakfast was a real bonus. We arrived at the hotel by 9.00am after coming in on an overnight flight and despite check in being 2.00 pm we were told we could check in within the hour after the room had been cleaned. We had a room with 2 single beds which also had a comfortable sofa, a small fridge and safe. The bathroom was functional and the shower came with plenty of hot water and strong pressure. The room was sound proofed so despite the cafes and bars in the street below we weren't disturbed at all. Breakfast each morning was a real treat with a selection of cereals, Turkish and western dishes, fruit, cakes, juices all in a help yourself buffet. The host Ayhan was always there to make sure you didn't go hungry. During our stay my partner became unwell with a virus and the hotel was able to call a visiting doctor who arrived within the hour. I can recommend this hotel and wouldn't hesitate to stay next time we're in Istanbul.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel in Istanbul! We stayed 2 more nights. The location was superb few min to istiklal street, and the room was clean. We received a warm welcome upon arrival, setting the tone for a great visit. The morning breakfast was delightful, featuring an array of local delicacies that gave us a tasty glimpse into Turkish cuisine. The restaurant staff, particularly Ayhan and Gozde, were exceptionally friendly and made our experience even more enjoyable - special mention for the superb Turkish coffee they served! We're already looking forward to our next trip to Istanbul and hope to stay here again. Everyone fm housekeeping to bellhops did a wonderful job.

Everything but mostly people, delicious food and warm staff.

We stayed in the Taksim area, just 50 meters from the famous Istiklal Street — perfect for exploring the city. Tons of cafes, restaurants, shops, and, of course, lots of tourists around 😄 The room was standard but fresh: one double bed and a fold-out sofa. Every day we got a large bottle of water 💧 The windows had good soundproofing — the street noise wasn’t a problem, although we still opened them for some fresh air. Breakfast was tasty and served until 10:00 🍳☕ The staff was friendly and helpful 🙌 We didn’t have time to visit the spa. Taxi from IST Airport cost 2000 lira, and back to the airport was 1700 lira 🚖

Fast smooth welcoming check in by Receptionist. Great start to stay. Helpful bellhop who gave useful brief about the room features. Room with very good modern facilities.

The whole thing was amazing. The perfect localization, the perfect staffs, especially Ayhan and Go2De. Everything was wonderful.

The location is amazing , clean , good room size , delicious breakfast , Ayhan & Gozde were taking care & very attentive to provide a good service during breakfast time .

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is excellent—just a few minutes' walk to the city center, which made exploring very easy. The reception team was extremely helpful, especially with organizing taxis and making sure everything ran smoothly. Breakfast was truly outstanding, both in quality and variety. What really stood out, however, was the service. The staff at the breakfast restaurant were incredibly kind and attentive, and I’d like to give a special mention to Ayhan, who was very welcoming and made the mornings extra enjoyable. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended!

Overall, experience was good. Staff was responsible and especially the breakfast staff was really on to it to know what is more important at what time. I’ll say Ayhan and Gezde were great in their job.

We really enjoyed our stay at your hotel. Your staff made it a beautiful and memorable experience. A special thank you to Gozda, who made sure we had a perfect breakfast every day, exactly the way we liked it. She provided Elham with all her favorite drinks and even prepared a local honey-lemon tea when her throat hurt. She always helped us start our day with a smile. We also want to thank Caheda for keeping our room clean, fresh, and welcoming throughout our stay. And a big thank you to Ahmed, the bellboy who warmly welcomed us on the first day and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. He gave us great advice about places to visit, taxis, and even how to enjoy our tea in front of the hotel. Your wonderful team truly made our stay special. We look forward to returning
