Nazar Hotel

Comfortable room and hotel in a great location, close to the Basilica of St. John. Parking is next to the hotel and enclosed. We were warmly welcomed by the hotel staff.

Swimming pool and very nice staff

Excellent location. The hotel is a short walk to restaurants, the Efes Museum and the Selçuk train and bus stations. The staff is friendly the owner was very helpful and gave us advise on where to eat, what to see and what type of ticket to purchase to see the Ephesus Archeological Site, and different museums. The hotel offers a traditional Turkish breakfast (kahvalti), consisting of a hard-boiled egg, bread, cheeses, olives, cucumbers and various spreads, The hotel has a pool although we didn't get to use it because we had a full day of sightseeing.

The information given was incredibly useful and accurate, follow this and you will have a great stay in Selcuk. All facilities are good and well thought out.

It had a lovely vibe, the owners and staff were very friendly and gave lots of good suggestions for our visit. The pool was wonderful after a day of sightseeing in the heat. The location is great being walking distance to bus stations and restaurants.

Lovely owner - very helpful

Really friendly and welcoming owners, incredible Turkish breakfast each morning with a beautiful view over selcuk and the castle. Perfect for our stay in selcuk while we caught up with family, would definitely stay here again.

The property was easy walking distance to restaurants and the bus depot for Ephesus. The host was very accommodating and provided us with helpful tips for the area. The pool is an absolute bonus on a hot day. Clean and relaxing. The breakfast was good. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

A small family run hotel with extremely good service helpful and informative advice. Ilker the owner pick us up from Izmir airport personally as he could not find a taxi on the public holiday.

A slightly eclectic family run hotel with a beautiful pool area, delicious and generous breakfast and genuinely lovely and friendly staff. Location is excellent. Pool and castle views are delightful and it is in close walking distance to all local sights, restaurants and shops. Ilker, the owner is very knowledgeable and accommodating and is very ready to assist with planning of any kind.

We stayed at Hotel Nazar for 5 days and it was the best decision we made for our trip to Selçuk. Ilker and his family were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. They helped us plan our visit to Ephesus and other local monuments, and even recommended the best places to eat. The hotel is well located at a walkable distance to all services, restaurants and many manuments, the room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable, the shower had good pressure and hot water, and the breakfast was delicious. Highly recommended!

It was an excellent location and the staff were informative and friendly. Elker, the gentleman working the majority of the time was very helpful planning my excursions and spoke excellent English!

It was very central located to get to the travertines and also lots of the restaurants.
