Neorion Hotel – Special Class

Very nice hotel good breakfast great restaurant and bars etc on roof.

Fantastic location, really friendly helpful staff. The pool and the hammam were fabulous with the kids. Everyone loved the breakfast and found things they liked to eat.

Staff and restaurant

Neorion Hotel is well located in the Sultan Ahmet area making it easy to walk to all the main attractions. There is also a tram station nearby. The hotel staff were very helpful with any questions we had and gave us good suggestions. Breakfast was also great with excellent service and a variety of local items.

Very friendly and welcoming staff!

Incredibly friendly, helpful, and wonderful staff! They were very helpful during our stay and even after! Fantastic team! The hotel itself is very conveniently located, within easy walking distance of the main attractions, shops, restaurants, and public transportation stops. We didn't have time to use the pool and hammam, although they were recommended. The hotel has an incredible restaurant with a fantastic terrace with a beautiful view. On the day of our arrival, we had dinner with a gorgeous view and a great DJ set right on the hotel rooftop. It was delicious, beautiful, and very atmospheric! Good breakfasts! Comfortable beds. Thank you for a wonderful time. The rooms are certainly not very new, but that has its own charm.

Breakfast was nice and the location was great

When we arrived at this centrally located hotel, we were greeted by Mert who then proceeded to help us plan our entire stay in Istanbul! From restaurant suggestions to itineraries and a transit card, he was instrumental in our enjoyment of the city. He and the rest of the staff made this hotel stand out for the personalized treatment of its guests. We also loved how quiet it was in our room, despite being right in the historic area. We enjoyed a meal on the top floor terrace and loved the extensive breakfast each day.

Great location, staff were very nice and helpful. Clean and spacious room. Was nice to have free access to the pool and Turkish bath. The rooftop is very nice for a drink or dinner.

Right in the centre of Istanbul old town you will experience this hotel a place to "come home to". It is an oasis of peace in the ever busy streets and markets. Very friendly personnel, the sauna and swimming pool as well as the amazing Mezze 360 rooftop restaurant makes it a true 5 star experience. Lots of landmarks all within walking distance. We loved staying here for 10 days and we will come back for sure!

The staff truly embodied the spirit of hospitality. If I come back to Istanbul, I will definitely consider staying here again. The location is also well-connected, with access to a tram and a nearby metro line. The breakfast was also good.

Smart and clean

We had a very comfortable room which was clean and comparatively quiet given the location is in a busy part of the town. There is a wonderful restaurant/bar on the rooftop with lovely views over the Bhosphorus strait day or night. The staff at breakfast was lovely and very attentive. The lady in the spa explained the whole Hamam process to me and was very courteous. The decor in the hotel has a Turkish twist and when I booked I specifically wanted to avoid an international European chain. The hotel clearly values providing service and making people feeling at home and that was evident throughout our stay. This became especially apparent when our transfer back to the airport failed us not organised by the hotel, I might add and the hotel went out of their way to get the issue sorted getting a member of staff to transport us to the local taxi rank on foot with our bags and to negotiate with the taxi driver a fixed fare to the airport. The reception staff were very helpful and answered all our questions. The restaurant on the rooftop is very popular and you definitely need to book. the food is very good in quality … we dined there two or three times during our stay which is quite exceptional for us given that we would normally not eat in the hotel at all. This is very popular at night time with people dropping in for drinks, there is some live music and it’s got a very pleasant vibe…. The location is very good. It is around the corner from a tram station and very close to many of the historical sites….. I would stay at this hotel again without reservation and would recommend it without reservation .

Location within walking distance from major attractions and transportation hub, yet on a quiet street. View from the terrace restaurant is breathtaking. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.
