This property is incredible, the staff goes above & beyond to make sure you have an exceptional experience. The breakfast is fabulous & they offer tea all day long. The location is amazing, the beds are comfortable and the shower is incredible. So hot & the water pressure is amazing! Everything about this hotel is a 10, I stayed here twice during my time in Turkey & will absolutely come again!
Staff very helpful. Good location. They drove us to Ephesus entry. Cooked breakfast on request. Good value for money.
Amazing location with access to wonderful restaurants as well as the Basilica of St. John. The staff was very helpful and friendly - they even drove us to the entrance to Ephesus! The vegetarian breakfast was tasty and bountiful. The whole experience was relaxing. I would definitely return again.
The room was small but it provided everything necessary. The shower was great.
I had a great stay in Selcuk. The breakfast was superb and I was given good advice on trains and things to do in the area. The decor of the hotel is excellent. Thank-you for a great stay. Nicholas
Staying at Nilya hotel was like staying with family. We had some issues with our bus transport so we arrived at Selcuk at around 2 AM in the morning. But Erdal and Namzi made sure that there was someone to open the gates for us and help us get settled in our rooms before checking in the next day. The rooms were big and had authentic Turkish decor. The beds were also big and comfortable. Breakfast every day was delicious! We had a choice on how to get the eggs cooked and coffee was always fresh. There was Simit, all kinds of jams and all kinds of fruit. The courtyard where breakfast was served was beautiful with all the native flowers and plants. Namzi took the time to drive us to and from Ephesus and also arranged our transport to the House of the Virgin Mary. We also got to tour Namzi's shop and even bought an authentic Turkish carpet at a reasonable price. All in all, we greatly enjoyed our stay at Nilya hotel! Thanks Erdal, Namzi and all your staff for your hospitality!
The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. The owner was kind enough to drive us to Ephesus. The breakfast was good, with freshly cooked eggs. We enjoyed our short stay. Thank you
A beautifully designed and decorated hotel - so much attention to detail. We loved this place! Great breakfast everyday in a lovely setting. The owners were incredibly welcoming and helpful, giving us a lift to Ephesus.
Delicious breakfast and served to us at our table. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Nilya Hotel. It was a wonderful Turkish experience and everyone was so friendly and helpful. Right down to giving us return transport to Ephesus. The location is fabulous right next to the St John’s ruins and surrounding settlement. Fabulous. The museum from Ephesus is a five minute walk away. We loved it and will definitely come back. Thank you. 😀
Lovely room with good decor. The room itself was clean. Amazing breakfast and hospitality.
This is a beautiful hotel The staff were extremely helpful and did so much to make our stay comfortable. The breakfast was exceptional. The decor is beautiful.
Breakfast in the courtyard with its amazing mulberry tree was delicious, plentiful and relaxing. Our hosts were kind and helpful. The location is great. We enjoyed exploring on foot. The hosts offered transportation to and from Ephesus which was a big help. I would highly recommend Nilya Hotel!
The hosts of this property were exceptional. Always willing to help and answers questions or drove you some place along your route. Breakfasts provided were excellent.
The staff were wonderful. They were very friendly and made us so comfortable. The garden setting for breakfast was perfect. Location was close to everything Our favorite hotel in Turkey so far
The breakfast was amazing and very healthy! It us a beautiful old-style hotel run by a very pleasant owner. The courtyard is so quiet and beautiful. We had a drink after dinner sitting in the garden courtyard which was very special.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
Very central, big room, breakfast provided, clean room, free drop and pickup at Ephesus, wonderful staff.
Great stuff and great place, very nice breakfast
Stunning boutique hotel that is spotlessly clean, provides complimentary welcoming drinks and shuttle services to Ephesus along with a huge and delicious breakfast. The location is perfect for exploring the Castle, Mosque, Church and town on foot, but is in a lovely quiet street for when you want to relax. We absolutely loved it and wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend!
Excellent location, within walking distance to the Ephesus museam, the castle and St John's Basilică. The hotel provides a complementary shuttle service to the Upper Entrance of Ephesus as well. Breakfast was filling with at least 5 types of fresh fruit, coffee or tea, and bread baskeg, eggs & spreads. The room was very comfortable as well. Thanks for having us, Nazmi & Erdal!

The rooms are air conditioned, ensuring comfort even during the peak heat of the Turkish day. The interiors are described as tastefully decorated in Ottoman style, a design approach that blends classic details with a sense of simplicity and calm. It is a strong choice for history lovers who want to be close to Ephesus and the Selcuk area, enjoying a short walk to ancient sites while returning to a comfortable Ottoman style room in the evenings. It also suits couples seeking a quiet, intimate base with convenient central access, as well as small families who value a welcoming policy for children and a simple occupancy rule. If you value practical comforts, easy access to a world heritage area, and a location that maximizes your time on site rather than in transit, Nilya Hotel offers a refined, authentic option that fits well with a thoughtful travel plan. In summary, Nilya Hotel delivers a focused, well placed experience in Selcuk. It pairs comfortable air conditioned rooms with Ottoman style décor, a prime proximity to Ephesus, and practical perks such as free Wi Fi and on site parking.
