Guest Reviews
Irene was an amazing host and took care of us way beyond our expectations. The whole B&B was very clean and tidy. Altogether we had a great stay and there was nothing we didn't like.
We had a lovely host, the accommodation was very pretty, and the beds were comfortable to sleep in. The city center was very easy to reach, with a bus stop right around the corner, and buses going there every few minutes.
Host was super nice and welcoming room was spotless and great location for us would stay here again
The location was very quiet. The bus stop was very near with bus lines directly to the city centre. The breakfast was very good (continental). We slept very well in the comfy beds.
Welcomed me even tho it was late.and Gave me bfast bag at 630am before my tours. Nice.
The location and transport link to the city centre. You can also walk to the city centre. It’s only about 48 minutes. The area was very quiet. It’s like Irene the host was amazing. Communication was excellent via booking.com. She is very friendly and made sure our stay was very comfortable. The bed was comfortable and the quilt very soft and warm. Irene made us breakfast every morning and provided tourist advice. Irene added a personal touch to our stay. It was home away from home. I would stay here again.
Very nice and helpful staff.
Nice quiet location, not far from the City centre with the bus. Irene was very welcoming and went out her way to help.
Excellent location. Very close to frequent bus services (about 4-5 minutes walk). The host was friendly, engaging, helpful in terms of sharing her knowledge about Edinburgh. There was plenty of hot water and good water pressure in the shower.
Location is very near the bus stop and close to city centre. Irene was very attentive and caring host! Would recommend to others.
A very beautiful Victorian style house, with all the modern comfort. Great location, away from the busy center, but close enough with very well connected public transport. Very good quality beds, the entire family slept very comfortably. The delicious breakfast is served by the landlady, who is happy to share very useful tips about the city and the surrounding area.
Great location, great staff and nice room.
A nice hotel in a quiet location with good bus connections to the city centre. The room was clean and I was given a very friendly welcome, I can only recommend it.
It felt like a home away from home; I felt sorry when I had to leave. Everything was what I was looking for. I stayed for six days, so I was looking for a homely place rather than a fancy impersonal hotel. I enjoyed sharing breakfast with other guests, and Irene, the hostess, was great, witty and funny and made me feel welcome. The bathroom was not in the room, the fact that I already knew, which is quite usual in Europe, but that didn't pose a problem to me; I had the key, it was only for myself, and it was spotless.
Beautiful house, great location, peaceful, easy bus to town center…
The host Irene provided amazing service. She was very personable and helpful
Very cozy and comfortabel B&B. Excellent location in a quiet neighbourhood. Busstop around the corner. Busses every few minutes take you straight to the centre in about ten minutes.
Close to shops and public transport Friendly staff Good breakfast
Everything was perfect, felt like home <3
The place is beautiful, many bus stops close by, it's a quite place, the breakfast was great, the lady is nice, I was a bit early earlier than the check in time, she wasn't happy for that, had to wait outside, but overall the place is clean, and accessible.
