Stayed for one night during a 24h layover between flights. The room was clean and comfortable (although very small, and somewhat worn out), breakfast was great, location - super convenient both for sightseeing and for getting to/from the airport hassle-free

It's a very good hotel. Kid stuff, comfortable bed, terrace, central location. God price.

The owner of the hotel personally checked with us every day to make sure everything was good. On my first day, I arrived very late, yet he still offered me a free breakfast. Every day he kindly gave us cakes and other treats for free such a gentleman! The hotel’s location is perfect, right in the heart of Sultanahmet, within walking distance of all the main tourist attractions.

Very close to no 1 tramline in old city. Great atmosphere. Lovely rooftop sitting area. Great Turkish breakfast. Fabulous staff, Oktay the owner , extremely helpful, bookings, advise etc. close to shops and eating places. This is a 2 star hotel, but excellent value for the budget tourist

I recently stayed for one night at this B&B and was absolutely blown away by the experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with incredible warmth by the owner. His hospitality was exceptional, making me feel right at home instantly. The location is simply unbeatable—just a short walk from all the main sights, yet tucked away on a quiet street that guarantees a peaceful night's sleep. The cleanliness of the room and the entire property was immaculate; it was clear that every detail is taken care of. The breakfast was a delightful surprise. It was fresh, delicious, and had a great variety of options, far exceeding my expectations for an economic B&B. The value for money here is truly outstanding. You get a top-tier experience without the high price tag. An extra bonus was the flexibility to leave my luggage after check-out, which allowed me to make the most of my last day without any hassle. This level of thoughtfulness from the owner made all the difference.

The location is excellent, in the heart of Sultanahmet, still in a very quiet side street. Very rich breakfast. Comfortable mattresses. There is a nice view on the Marble Sea from the top terrasse. But the best is the hotel manager, Oktay, who gives his full heart to the small hotel, knowing well all his guests, and taking care of them to respond immediately to the minor requests/problems.

Breakfast is simple but delicious. Coffee and tea available all day. Very friendly staff, the owner is always ready to help. The best thing is the terrace on the top of the hotel with beautiful views.

Fantastic staff. Great location - within walking distance to most major attractions and a tram stop. Good breakfast. And a nice chill room at the rooftop. Totally recommend!

Alina 9.0

Excellent location, close to sights + public transport + supermarket yet quiet. VERY lovely staff, helpful, up for joking around, and you can see that the owner (Oktay) is very active in running the place + remembers the name of each guest:) Nice interior, nothing fancy. GREAT value for money. Lovely roof terrace, it was wonderful to sit there with drinks & snacks and watch the sunset. Free tea & coffee. Delicious dishes at breakfast. Big fridge in the room. Luggage storage available.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for a little over a week, and we would recommend it to anyone traveling to Istanbul. – The location is excellent: in the historic center and also near the convenient T1 tram line, yet situated on a quiet street. In addition to the main sights, there are supermarkets, pharmacies, restaurants, etc. nearby. – Spotlessly clean and tidy! – Very friendly and helpful hotel owner and staff, truly a warm and pleasant attitude. – The bed was incredibly comfortable: we literally felt like we were falling into its embrace every night. – Overall, everything is thoughtfully arranged and convenient for tourists. Very cosy, too. 10 out of 10 — thank you!

Andrey 10.0

Great location to explore the old city and short walk to the central tram line. Very helpful and friendly staff. Access to the rooftop and chilling area. A luggage room for free after check out. Very clean!

Matias 10.0

A hotel with an outstanding staff, a delicious breakfast, and a great location. It is comfortably, cozy and clean. It also has a terrace with a covered area which is open 24hs with free coffee and tea. It has a beautiful view to the Bosphorus.

Gątarski 10.0

Great hotel in fantastic location, very close to Blue Mosque. Host is very kind and friendly, breakfasts are tasty. Hotel is not new, but have everything what you need to spend a few days in the city. You can also buy something to drink in reception and see great view on the Bosporus from the rooftop. This place is not luxury, but has a real soul.

About This Hotel

Paris Hotel sits in the heart of Istanbul’s historic district, a small family run property that invites guests to slow down and soak up the atmosphere of the old city. From its terrace you can gaze out across the Marmara Sea, a feature that immediately sets the tone for a relaxed and memorable stay. The hotel’s central location means you are never far from the energy and curiosity of Istanbul, with Piyer Loti Square just a two minute walk away. This proximity makes it easy to begin a day exploring winding streets, atmospheric mosques, and hidden courtyards before returning to the quiet comfort of the hotel. The terrace is a standout highlight, offering a peaceful outdoor space where guests can linger over a coffee or a glass of something refreshing while the sea provides a natural backdrop. Several photos in the property listing show balconies and terraces with sea views, and some rooms appear to offer similar prospecting vantage points. This element of sea watching becomes a simple pleasure during mornings and evenings, when light and color transform the horizon and invite a moment of pause amid a busy travel itinerary. Inside the Paris Hotel you will find 28 rooms designed to feel welcoming and practical for travelers. The listing notes free WiFi across all areas, enabling guests to stay connected for work or leisure without hassle. In terms of room feel, imagery in the listing points to comfortable bedding and well arranged spaces that suit short breaks as well as longer stays. While renovation dates are not published, the rooms shown in photographs convey a clean, modern ambiance that pairs well with the historic surroundings. For food and drink, breakfast is a notable part of the experience. The property uses photos and tags that indicate breakfast service with continental options and buffet style offerings. Guests may also encounter additional kitchen and dining related features in the listings such as a communal kitchen and various kitchenettes, which can be a practical option for guests who enjoy a flexible morning routine or who are planning longer stays. Paris Hotel also emphasizes a social and relaxed atmosphere through lounge style spaces and entertainment options. The collection of photos includes scenes of a lounge or bar, as well as images labeled for evening entertainment and a general on site social space. These spaces provide opportunities to connect with fellow guests, unwind with a drink, or simply enjoy a quiet moment with a book or a favorite show after a day of sightseeing. The presence of a dedicated lounge area, plus the possibility of evenings with light entertainment, adds an appealing layer for guests seeking a friendly, communal vibe. Family friendliness is clearly a focus here. The owner runs the hotel as a family operation, which often translates into attentive service and a welcoming atmosphere. There is explicit policy language that welcomes children of any age, and there is no age restriction for check in. These elements are important for families planning a city break, offering reassurance that younger travelers will be accommodated with care. The site also notes that the maximum guest count is listed as part of the property’s policies, a reminder to guests to plan room occupancy accurately for a smooth reservation process. In terms of facilities, the listing signals a mix of practical amenities that can enhance a stay. The property highlights the presence of a terrace with Marmara Sea views, free WiFi, and a compact property footprint that keeps everything easily walkable from the central core of the historic district. Several photos feature bed rooms with clearly labeled elements like beds, TV and multimedia, and wardrobe or storage space, suggesting comfortable, well rounded guest rooms. A number of images also point to the option of a balcony or terrace with sea or city views, which aligns well with travelers who love visual access to their surroundings and the chance to enjoy a private outdoor seating area. Families may appreciate the potential for rooms that suit different needs, including the possibility of family oriented configurations and spaces that allow kids to rest comfortably after a day of exploring. The policies also note that there is no requirement for extra beds, which could simplify planning for guests who prefer to keep things straightforward. While pets are not allowed, this is a common policy in historic district properties and can help minimize noise and compatibility concerns for a courtyard or terrace oriented setting. Who is this hotel ideal for? If you are drawn to a compact, character filled property in Istanbul’s most storied neighborhood, Paris Hotel offers a practical base that balances location with a homely feel. It is particularly well suited to travelers who want to be within easy reach of Piyer Loti Square and the historic sights, while enjoying a terrace that overlooks the Marmara Sea and rooms that provide reliable WiFi and comfort after long days of exploration. It also appeals to families who value a welcome environment and flexible check in, and to guests who appreciate lounge spaces and occasional on site entertainment as a pleasant way to end a day in the city.
