Guest Reviews
Very nice room and welcoming staff.
The heating
Cozy and cute hotel. Good location and easy to reach by bus. Great views from the window! The bed was also very comfortable.
The accommodation was in a quiet location, 15 minutes by bus from the city centre, clean, and in a Scottish style, receptionist was very kind and sweet.
Location was good
Everything was great, room was clean. Bed was comfortable and shower was great compared to other hotels we stayed at in Scotland. Staff were super nice and they got our room ready quickly when we arrived early which was very appreciated. Location is great in a quiet neighborhood. It’s a 40 minutes walk from city center and there is a direct bus to city center with a stop just out front of the hotel. We did not try the breakfast (12£ per person).
Staff very kind Bed very confortable Room very spacious
Beautiful hotel - room and bathroom - very clean Kind attentive staff
I really liked the location – very convenient! The place was clean, cozy, and smelled nice. There was a nice personal touch from the hosts, and I appreciated the little extras like coffee, tea, and water in the room. The room had a charming vintage vibe, and the bed was soft and comfy like a cloud. It was also great to have the option to order breakfast.
The room and bathroom were very big (especially by Edinburgh standards). The staff were very friendly and offered us a coffee as we were a bit early for check in , while our room was being finished off. We didn’t take the breakfast option. Bus is just outside.
Immaculately clean, lovely modern fixtures and fittings (bathroom) very comfortable bed, Jennifer a lovely hostess, good breakfast. Hotel has nice warm feel to it, quiet, but still on main bus route into town, and 15mins walk from Arthur's Seat and the Crags. Couple of fantastic local pubs 10mins walk away, Leslies Bar, The Bell Inn. Just excellent.
The decor and cleanliness of our room was very nice. Stylish. We enjoyed the size of the family room we rented. The bed and bedding was also very comfortable.
Charming atmosphere and interior, quiet and relaxing environment, option for personalised breakfast, very friendly staff
Room was very comfy and whilst the private bathroom was across the corridor it contained a Japanese style toilet which was a-ma-zing! Breakfast was great with loads of choice and the location of the property was good for me - quiet, safe , about 20 / 25 minute walk into the centre of the Fringe Festival events. Would definitely return.
Good value for money
Friendly staff Location on bus line to Royal Mile Staff responded to heat wave with a fan
