Very clean, brilliant location for 02 Apollo. Bus service 3 mins walk away. On street parking. Well equipped kitchen. Perfect for an over night stay.
Very good location for o2apoll
Clean environment, great location.
The bedroom itself was very comfortable, I liked the additional lamp with softer lighting, it was a nice little addition to the room. The mattress and pillows were super comfortable and I slept like a baby. The place overall was fairly clean and tidy. The interior was fairly modern and updated, with motion censored lighting in the hallway which made the place more comfortable.

Free WiFi is available throughout the property, helping guests stay connected whether they are catching up on work or planning a day out. Parking is not a built in feature, but free public parking nearby is noted in the property policies, which makes getting around the city simpler for guests who drive. Inside Rostron House you can expect a practical, comfortable layout. All units include a flat screen TV and a fully equipped kitchen with an oven, a microwave and a coffee machine. Bed linen and towels are provided, ensuring fresh, ready to use spaces upon arrival. The emphasis here is on convenience and self sufficiency, with a shared kitchen and a shared lounge where guests can prepare meals, relax, or chat with fellow travellers. A communal lounge and TV room feature in the property’s photos, highlighting spaces for socialising or winding down after a day of exploring the city. If you plan to cook during your stay, Rostron House is well suited to self catering. The kitchen facilities appear to be a central feature, with multiple images showing kitchen or kitchenette areas that guests can use. This makes it an attractive option for travellers who value flexibility, budget control, or simply the comfort of eating in. While there is no listed on site restaurant, the kitchen and dining areas provide a practical alternative for meals, snacks, and hot drinks without leaving the building. When it comes to entertainment and relaxation, Rostron House favours simple, homely comforts. The property offers a shared lounge and seating areas where guests can unwind, read, or watch TV in a relaxed environment. Evening entertainment is captured in the gallery of photos, suggesting a social atmosphere in communal spaces, though the core experience remains a calm base perfect for resting after a day in Manchester. Family and travelling with children require careful consideration. The hotel policies here indicate that children are not allowed, and there is no capacity for extra beds or cots. The maximum number of guests per stay is two, and the minimum age for check in is 18. These guidelines position Rostron House as a good fit for adults travelling together, couples or solo travellers who value a simple, self catered stay in a central area over family friendly amenities. For adults who value a practical, budget minded stay in Manchester with easy city access, Rostron House offers a straightforward option. The property is well suited to those who want a base for sightseeing, short breaks, or a longer stay where day plans revolve around museums, galleries, and iconic city stops rather than resort style facilities. In terms of who this hotel is ideal for, Rostron House suits travellers who prioritise location and independence.
