It's good hotel and good location
Ideal location, super friendly staff, good food, comfortable bed, nice hot shower with great water pressure. It was a great offer for the price I paid.
The staff were super friendly and helpful !! The location also is great, nearby the Tram and some landmarks like blue mosque, hagia sophia, and many more. The room was not that big but it was clean! I love it.

About This Hotel
Safir Gold Hotel sits in Istanbul’s historic quarter, a short walk from enduring landmarks that drew travelers for centuries. Nestled on Küçük Ayasofya Caddesi 42, the property places you within easy reach of the city’s most storied sights. The Column of Constantine stands less than a kilometer away, while the Spice Bazaar and Topkapi Palace are both nearby. This central position makes it convenient to fuse culture and daily life, from morning strolls along narrow streets to sunset views over the Golden Horn. The setting invites guests to step out and explore without wasting precious time. Around the hotel you will find a garden, a shared lounge, a terrace and an on site restaurant. These spaces invite guests to unwind after a day of sightseeing or to plan the next outing with fellow travelers. Although the property does not list a pool or a private beach, the leafy garden and outdoor terrace provide pleasant spots to relax in between excursions. The neighborhood is lively and walkable, with cafes and bakeries nearby and many iconic attractions within comfortable reach. Inside, Safir Gold Hotel offers 12 rooms designed to feel intimate and convenient. The smaller size of the property means personal service and a quieter atmosphere, ideal for guests who want a home base rather than a large resort. Specific details about room renovations or sizes are not provided in the listing, but the emphasis on comfortable sleeping spaces is evident from the photography. Guests are likely to find clean, well kept rooms that support a restful stay in the heart of the city. For dining, the on site restaurant is a focal point of the stay. Breakfast options are highlighted in property materials, and dining appears to be an easy part of the day without venturing far. The surrounding area offers a range of eating options as well, but the on site restaurant provides a convenient venue for mornings and evenings alike. If you prefer a casual bite after a day of sightseeing, you can plan meals around the hotel’s terrace and lounge areas, which create a relaxed ambiance for conversations and plans with your travel companions. Family travelers will appreciate the hotel policies that shape a family friendly stay. The listing states that children of any age are welcome, a key factor for guests traveling with kids. There is a maximum of three guests per room, and the property does not provide extra beds or cots. A helpful note for families is that one child up to and including 12 years old can stay free when using existing beds. For older children and adults, standard adult pricing applies. If you are booking for a small family, you will want to review the options available and plan accordingly. Wellness and relaxation are centered on the outdoor spaces. The garden, shared lounge and terrace offer peaceful spots to read, chat or simply enjoy a moment of quiet between tours. Some photos in the listing hint at wellness touches such as massage services, which suggests there may be opportunities to unwind locally. While the listing does not spell out a full spa or fitness center, guests who value a calm environment will still find space to unwind after busy days. This hotel is ideal for travelers who want a city break with cultural immersion. It suits couples seeking a convenient romantic base in a vibrant neighborhood, as well as solo explorers who appreciate easy access to major sights and a friendly, attentive staff. Families with children who intend to focus on city explore will find the central location a major advantage, plus the family friendly policies that allow flexibility within set limits. In short, Safir Gold Hotel offers a simple, comfortable, well located retreat that pairs city energy with a touch of garden calm. If you are seeking a compact, well situated stay close to Istanbul’s historic heart, Safir Gold Hotel could be your starting point. The combination of a garden oasis, an on site restaurant and convenient proximity to major attractions creates a practical base for a memorable visit. Whether you plan long, wandering days through Old Istanbul or shorter trips to the bazaar and palace, this hotel helps you balance sightseeing with rest and easy dining.
