Close to Taxim’s square. Also very close with metro’s station. Taxis prices were also cheap.

Lynn 10.0

The room was very spacious as was the bathroom, there was plenty of drawer and cupboard space and the small fridge was great for storing water. The air conditioning unit was very welcome on days when I got back and was guite hot. The bedding was very comfortable and there were extra pillows and covers available if needed. The service was excellent and the people were very friendly.

It is a fantastic location and a short walk to Takism Square and the M2 metro. It is down a very narrow street, which does make transfers difficult, but I loved the fact that I was staying on a Turkish street and not in some flash cookie cutter hotel that could be in any country. If you like that you'll love the location. The staff are also simply fantastic and so helpful.

Good location. A room was nice and clean. Thank you

Breakfast was the simplest you can find. Same every day. They should cancel it, not to disappoint guests, or at least offer as an option.

About This Hotel

Taksim Palace Hotel sits in the heart of Beyoğlu, Istanbul, offering a straightforward city center stay with the essential comforts that travelers value. This is a compact property with a personal touch, designed for guests who want to immerse themselves in one of Istanbul’s most vibrant districts while keeping things simple and efficient. The hotel’s location places you in a lively, historic area where streets unfold with cafes, shops and easy access to the rhythm of daily life in this dynamic part of the city. The Beyoglu neighborhood is famous for its energy, diverse eateries, and the chance to experience both the modern pulse and the centuries old streets that define Istanbul. The hotel is addressed at Kalyoncu Kulluğa Cad. Peskirci Sok No:10, a detail that matters for travelers who prefer to be within a short walk of many attractions and a walkable neighborhood. The surrounding area encourages spontaneous discoveries, from traditional Turkish teahouses to contemporary galleries and inviting little bistros. With its central position, Taksim Palace Hotel serves as a convenient base for exploring by day and enjoying the city after dark, all within easy reach of local transit and pedestrian avenues. On arrival you will find a welcoming, practical setup that focuses on reliability. Free WiFi is available across the property, letting you plan your days or upload memories without interruption. A 24 hour front desk is ready to assist with information about the area, help arrange transportation, and handle check in or check out as needed. This level of service is particularly helpful for travelers who value responsiveness and flexibility when navigating a busy cityscape. The hotel’s staff are attentive and approachable, contributing to a sense of ease during your stay. Inside the rooms the emphasis is on comfort and convenience. Each of the 15 rooms is equipped with a flat screen satellite TV for relaxed evenings after long days of sightseeing. A refrigerator is provided for snacks and beverages, and a telephone is handy for staying connected. Air conditioning helps you maintain a pleasant climate regardless of Istanbul’s weather, while a seating area offers a comfortable spot to unwind or plan the next day’s adventures. The overall design remains straightforward and functional, prioritizing a clean, uncluttered feel that appeals to travelers who value value and usability. Renovation details are not provided in the listing, so guests should anticipate a straightforward, practical aesthetic rather than a contemporary boutique vibe. The absence of explicit renovation notes does not detract from the hotel’s core strengths, which lie in its location, dependable basics and friendly service. What you see in the photos reflects rooms and common areas that are tidy and well maintained, with the kind of decor that supports a focus on comfort and convenience over trendiness. If you are seeking a modern, high design environment, this may not be the primary draw, but if you want a reliable home base in a bustling district, the property delivers. Food and beverage options anchor the stay in a city context. A continental breakfast is showcased in the gallery, suggesting accessible morning dining that can help you start busy days of exploration. The photo collection also includes images labeled Restaurant or places to eat, hinting at on site or nearby dining options that allow you to sample Turkish flavors and international fare with ease. While the details of meals, menus, or room service are not spelled out, the presence of breakfast imagery and dining areas indicates that convenient sustenance is part of the overall experience. For guests who prefer to venture out after breakfast, Beyoğlu offers a wealth of nearby eateries and casual venues, all reachable by pleasant strolls through the neighborhood. Family friendly travel is part of the hotel’s policy framework. Children of any age are welcome, which makes the property appealing for families traveling with youngsters who want an affordable, central base. However, there is a maximum occupancy of two guests per room, and the listing does not indicate the availability of extra beds or cots. This makes the hotel well suited to couples, solo travelers or small families who can share a compact, comfortable room without needing additional bedding. It is worth considering this capacity when planning for a family trip or a longer city break with more than two guests. Entertainment and relaxation come in through practical, social spaces rather than resort style facilities. The photo collection shows a communal lounge or TV room where guests can unwind, catch up on shows, or chat with fellow travelers. In addition, there are multiple images of bedrooms that emphasize a calm, private space for rest after a day spent wandering through the streets and markets. The presence of dining areas and a lounge underlines the value of a stay that blends sociability with quiet corners for reading or planning the next day’s itinerary. While there is no explicit mention of a spa or wellness center, you can still carve out moments of downtime by using the seating areas, enjoying a coffee, or watching a program on the TV in a comfortable setting. Who is this hotel ideal for? It is a solid choice for travelers who want to stay in a lively, authentic district and keep logistics simple. If you prioritize location over luxury and prefer easy access to Istanbul’s cultural heartbeat, this property offers a dependable base. It suits couples seeking a budget friendly, convenient city break, solo explorers who want a practical, approachable place to stay, and families with two guests looking for a central location without a heavy price tag. If you value friendly staff, reliable WiFi, and rooms that cover the basics without unnecessary frills, Taksim Palace Hotel presents a clear and honest option. In short, this is a practical, value oriented choice for those who want to be immersed in Beyoglu’s energy while enjoying essential comforts and dependable service. It may not promise a resort style retreat or a beach and pool experience, but it delivers a straightforward city center stay with authentic urban access, responsive service, and the kind of convenience that makes a city break smooth and enjoyable.
