The location is exceptional, you couldn't hope to be more central or 'in the thick of it'. Loved watching the tour groups pass by and the fact it's literally staggering distance to all the city pub, restaurants, museums and colleges. Perfect to avail yourself of all Oxford has to offer. Great size room with everything we needed (bar a minor confusion re coffee). Spacious room and very clean. Huge bathroom too. Good quality toiletries. I appreciated the local photos, generic 'art' so often detracts from a stay, imo. Also the local recommendations were great if you don't know Oxford well. Nice to have this personal touch. Check in was nice and early. Luggage storage was helpful too. Overall a great stay.

No breakfast but a discount rate at a nearby cafe.

Blunt 8.0

Great location in town, comfy room perfect for a stopover or longer stay. Nice staff and nice room. Was a good time and would recommend.

Maria 9.0

The hotel entrance door is positioned between two shops so we missed it at first but what a pleasant surprise it is inside! Although small our front facing room was surprisingly large and the bed was amazingly comfortable. The location is perfect for exploring the city.

You can hardly stay more central in Oxford, plus a stone’s throw away from the railway station. My room was large and comfy, but most importantly, I found it was stunningly well decorated. It felt extremely welcoming, blending the old and the new. Very generous selection of tea!

It was old and quirky! It was in an excellent location. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We had a large room with a large bathroom. It was very clean and warm.

Brian 8.0

A great location in the centre of town, close to all the major tourist attractions and a good variety of shops. A decent-sized, adequately furnished room with a modern, roomy walk-in shower in the ensuite bathroom. Friendly and helpful staff helped to carry our bags up the rather steep and narrow stairs. The hotel offers discount vouchers at a couple of good neighbouring eateries in lieu of providing its own breakfast/restaurant facilities.

Central location, large room.

View and location was perfect for my needs. Staff were really friendly

The location on Broad Street was perfect, making it very easy to attend classes at the Oxford Centre. The room was a bit small, but it was well equipped with a small wall-mounted desk, a tea table, and a kettle. The bathroom functioned well. There was no refrigerator, but that was fine during the winter season. The bed was comfortable. Please note that there is no lift; however, the staff were extremely kind and helped carry my luggage up to the room.

Fabulous location, helpful staff, clean room. The room was a great size and had plenty of storage. Nice towels and toiletries.
