Guest Reviews

Kwinten 9.0

The hotel was easy to reach by car and had a spacious carpark. The staff was very friendly and the room was spacious. The restaurant was very accomodating to us considering our dietary restrictions (coeliac and dairy-free) and helped us pick and choose and/or adapt certain menu items to make a full meal possible (both for dinner and breakfast).

David 9.0

Location and secure car parking.

Ivy 8.0

We loved the location. A short very pleasant rover walk takes you into the centre of town in 10 minutes. Staff very friendly. The piano bar is excellent and we had 2 great evenings of entertainment. Breakfasts were delicious. Freshly cooked and very well presented. Hotel is spotlessly clean.

Great location

Laura 9.0

Strategic accommodation: we arrived by car and were able to park it in the adjacent streets for two days without paying. In front of the guest house, there is a bus stop served by several lines, and you can reach the city centre in 10 minutes. Although small, the room was clean and cosy.

Catherine 8.0

Excellent location, lovely clean room, great nights sleep

Nina 8.0

Excellent location. Room was nice but needing a bit of TLC, however, for the price paid, it was fine. Great breakfast and friendly staff.

Ruth 8.0

The room was immaculate, beautiful views from the windows on to the River bank.

Brian 9.0

Alastair 8.0

Very comfortable, good beds, clean and a very pleasant bar to sit in. Staff friendly and a good breakfast. Great location and quiet with a view over the river.

Sheena 9.0

Excellent staff. Clean room. Good to see a sash window that still opens in an old hotel room. Blinds and curtains good for blocking light out. Lovely to have bath sheets instead of skimpy towels. Cooked breakfast lovely and great choices.

Douglas 9.0

Friendly, helpful staff. Close to city centre. Huge room. Spotless and well appointed. Breakfast was good with huge amount of salmon and wasn't too expensive. Right next to river with excellent walkway and interesting surroundings.

Anthony 9.0

Location was excellent and close to town centre

James 8.0

Breakfast was excellent. Good choice of hot/cold food. I had full Scottish & my wife had the salmon & scrambled eggs. Good quality & quantity which set us up for the day ahead. We stayed in a club room of which we did a few years back & it was exactly th3 same. Room was clean but parts need updated
