Guest Reviews
English countryside vibes. Super cute room, spacious with great heating. Included an amazing breakfast.
The building was listed so kept it's oldy charm beds were very comfortable and the room was nice breakfast was good as well only met one staff member but was pleasant
Staff were great. I was late arriving which wasn’t an issue and I needed to check out really early and they were happy to lay out a continental breakfast for me to enjoy
The room could do with a bit of updating, but overall all was good. However the radiator didn't seem to work so the room was quite cool. Some extra blankets would have been good. But overall as I said, Langley Inn worked well for us.
Lovely building, lovely staff, good breakfast
Good location, plenty of parking. Lovely old building, modern facilities.
Room, breakfast, comfort, warmth all very good. Would certainly stay here again.
Breakfast improved on previous visit. Like rooms
We loved that it was an old house with the old doors etc, our stay was comfortable, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the indian cuisine in the restaurant was absolutely amazing, the best curry weve had in a long time.
Breakfast is buffet and very extensive: cereals, cheeses, eggs and crumpets and butter!
I frequently stay at Langley in near the Bristol and Bath Science Park and love it for its location, breakfast and friendly and helpful staff.
What a lovely characteristic building, friendly staff and easy to access location
About This Hotel
The Langley Arms Bed and Breakfast sits in Emersons Green, a calm Bristol suburb. The property is housed in a converted 17th century farmhouse, giving guests a warm welcome and a sense of timeless country style. On arrival you will find free parking on site and reliable WiFi throughout the building, making it easy to settle in and plan your days. The atmosphere is intimate and friendly, with a focus on value and practical comfort rather than pretension. Set in a calm residential suburb of Bristol the Langley Arms provides a tranquil retreat while staying close enough to enjoy city amenities when you want them. The neighbourhood feels peaceful and residential, offering a safe and relaxed backdrop after a day of sightseeing or business. For guests arriving by car, the on site parking adds real convenience, and the presence of reliable WiFi ensures you can stay connected from your room or the common areas. The property offers ten guest rooms, each designed to feel welcoming and comfortable. While the house carries historic charm, inside you can expect practical modern touches that make a stay easy and convenient. Rooms typically feature a comfortable bed, sensible storage, a seating area, and a television, along with coffee and tea facilities to help you start the day or unwind in the evening. The overall vibe blends country house character with thoughtful everyday amenities, creating a home away from home rather than a hotel experience that feels overly formal. Bathrooms in the guest rooms are equipped with showers and toilets, with towels provided. Clean lines and fresh finishes keep the spaces pleasant and easy to maintain, while the emphasis remains on comfort and practicality. If you value straightforward routines and a tidy, pleasant bathroom, you will likely find these spaces meet your needs during a Bristol stay. Food and drink play a simple but important role here. Breakfast is included as part of the stay, with continental options featured in the property gallery. This makes mornings uncomplicated and predictable, which many travelers appreciate when you have a busy day ahead. The dining experience centres on a relaxed, light start to the day rather than formal dining rooms, allowing you to focus on plans for your time in Bristol. For families and groups there is a clear policy framework to help you plan ahead. Children of any age are welcome, and the maximum number of guests in a room is three. The site outlines that cots and extra beds are subject to availability, and that some charges may apply for younger or older children when using existing beds. One child up to and including two years old can stay for free when using a cot, and up to two children aged four to seventeen can stay for free when sharing existing beds. For older children and adults, a fee may apply for extra beds. This approach makes the Langley Arms a flexible option for families and multi generational stays, with transparency around occupancy and extras. Pets are not allowed at this property, which helps keep the rooms quiet and dedicated to a standard of care that suits guests with allergies or those seeking a very specific room environment. Internet access is available throughout and WiFi is free of charge, so keeping in touch with home or work is easy no matter which room you choose. If you are seeking a simple, well priced Bristol base, this B and B ticks many practical boxes. The Langley Arms is ideal for families looking for a friendly, budget friendly stay that provides reliable parking and connectivity, and for couples who want a quiet, comfortable space with easy access to the city and the countryside beyond. The setting supports longer weekend breaks or short midweek stays when you want to slow down and recharge after a day of exploring the area. Relaxation comes naturally in this calm environment. Guests can unwind in the communal lounge or TV room, a comfortable space to catch up on a film or simply chat with fellow travelers. The property gallery suggests some rooms offer garden views, letting you enjoy a touch of outdoor calm from the inside, which is especially pleasant during milder weather. In short, The Langley Arms Bed and Breakfast offers a traditional Bristol stay with practical comforts, polite service, and a focus on value. It is a smart choice for travelers who want a peaceful, approachable home base with straightforward access to parking, WiFi, and a friendly, family oriented atmosphere. If your idea of a good break blends simple, comfortable rooms with a calm setting and easy logistics, this is a solid option worth considering.
