Location is ideal especially if travelling by bus as so close to the station. Hotel stored luggage prior to check in and after check out. Room was huge and seemed to have been recently renovated. Lots of lovely seating areas and a terrace which would be great in the summer.

Room was very clean and comfortable. Front desk staff was amazing. I wish I could remember his name. He helped to get my luggage upstairs as their were no lifts (common in Scotland). Location was great and I had a nice view. Everything I wanted to see was within a 10-15 minute walk.

Staff was great, super friendly and very informative. Breakfast was fabulous and so convenient to have right there in the hotel. Location was ideal. Super easy to get to the train station, old town, etc...but not right in the middle of old town congestion.

The shower kept leaking water but otherwise we loved the place and are so so thankful for its safe location. And thankful for the peppermint tea option.

The service was outstanding. Very helpful and charming. When I arrived I was given a room in the basement, fine, but I would have preferred to be above ground. I told reception, they were full, Saturday, but promised to move me for my second night, which they did. This room was absolutely beautiful. Breakfast also excellent.

Great location, nice staff, we have been upgraded to a Harry Potter themed suite for free, and it was just lovely - super huge, big beds, fancy bathroom with a shower, and a bath, and last but not least a very nice view. The hotel is very close to a tram station and on walking distance to central Edinburgh.
