Lovely friendly run Victorian property, lovely garden area, no frills shared bathrooms but very clean and everything you need. We appreciate appreciated the kitchen area so we didn’t spend too much on eating out. Our family room was spacious enough and had a sink and tea and coffee facilities. The manager was extremely helpful and very friendly.

I liked the tranquillity of the place, as well as its proximity to a beach area where I like to walk when I come to Bournemouth. I usually come every year to attend the We Out Here Festival, which takes place in Bournemouth, and I like to spend a few days in the city before the festival and, if possible, a few days after. The area where the hotel is located is perfect for relaxing and spending those days.

I enjoyed the fish pond in the garden. I also like the fridge space. The bathrooms were clean and tidy. The summary card in the room that says what time is check out and that there is a cat that sometimes roam the garden.

The location was amazing! Super easy to access, parking was a nice as we didn’t have to pay for parking! The quadruple bedroom was much bigger than we were expecting and the host was really friendly, kind and gave us loads of advice. The shared toilet was no issue as it was super clean and close to the rooms. It was very cosy and would definitely recommend. Will be coming back!

Thanks to Karl for making our stay so comfortable. It was truly a home away from home. Loved your cosy kitchen and zen garden with beautiful fish. The room we stayed on had a shared bathroom but there was never a time I needed it and it wasn't free. Room equipped with lots of fresh towels, water, toiletries, tea, coffee and milk. Ironing facility available. We brought in a Chinese takeaway one night and finished eating in the dining room past 11 after which Karl patiently cleaned up after us. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We were immediately met with a friendly face upon check in who was really helpful in giving us all the info we needed. Room was bigger than expected, beds were extremely comfortable and we slept amazingly. Bathrooms were generous in size for a small hotel and very clean and comfy. Overall a great nights stay. Close to local high street too which was very helpful.

The owner was always on time for the breakfast and let us use the garden to rest when my boys were sleeping.

Location was fantastic and so was the host! The beach is a short walk away with options to eat around. Parking space seemed limited but we got a space right at the front, there’s a place to park nearby anyways which is really handy!
