The staff were incredible. Georgie and Ellis were welcoming, friendly, polite and helpful at our check in and evening meal and nothing was too much trouble. Nadia at breakfast was lovely too. They were very quick to clear and clean the tables when customers had finished. They all made our stay very special. The location of the Inn is lovely and close to Weymouth too. The Inn itself was quirky and inviting and inside was cosy and warm with lots of nooks and crannys! The room was clean and comfortable and beautifully decorated with lots of goodies on the beverage tray. The dinner and breakfast were plentiful and delicious, very good quality. Rooms and spaces are welcoming for couples and small groups. The occupancy policy and bed notes point to an intimate setup that suits two guests per room, with no capacity for extra beds or cots. The policy also notes that children of any age are welcome, which means families can browse the surrounding area, though per room occupancy remains two guests. This makes The Smugglers Inn an ideal base for two adults looking for a coastal escape. The inn is pet friendly on request, with charges possibly applying. This flexible option is helpful for travelers who want to bring a dog or other pet along to the coast. Free private parking on site further reduces travel hassles and makes it convenient to explore the area. Free WiFi across the property supports both leisure browsing and light work, ensuring you stay connected while you enjoy the scenery. Accommodation and ambience lean toward quiet, relaxed evenings. A lounge or bar provides a comfortable space to unwind, while dining options offer a simple way to enjoy meals without leaving the property. The garden area adds a natural retreat, and the sea view imagery reinforces the sense of a genuine coastal escape where you can slow the pace and savor the landscape.
