Hotel is very clean and situated centrally in Taksim area. It’s a convenient area with plenty of food options and easy to navigate around. Importantly, hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. I will strongly recommend.

Great location, friendly staff, clean rooms. However, the check in experience was weird. Initially they told me that I got upgraded to a better room ("best in the hotel") but in fact it was a double room on the first floor instead of a triple one I booked (and I know it's cheaper). When I brought this confusion up, they said that all triple rooms are full (what? how could they give out the room I booked?) and offered to bring in an extra bed to the double room. I refused and said that I need the room I booked. They said it's going to be available in the afternoon (I arrived early morning the next day after my booking start date). I was too tired to argue or ask for a compensation so I agreed to wait in the double room they offered. In the end just a couple of hours later they said that my room is ready and it's the best room in the hotel (a bit of a deja vu feeling here haha). But this time it was the truth, it was the best available room (better than the one I booked) on the 5th floor and it was really great :) So I'm not reducing the review score for this inconvenience and would prefer to think it was just a confusion/genuine mistake of someone of the staff. In the end my stay was great and everything but the check in experience was awesome.

quite conveniently located on taksim square, didnt really hear much traffic even though it was located next to a busy street. near major tourist attractions and modes of transport(Metro, Funicular, and ferry terminal). one of the receptionists, Goksel, gives very good travel advice around istanbul!

The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, they went above and beyond to accommodate every request, which made the stay feel extra special. Very nice hotel with a charming lobby, conveniently located near one of Istanbul's main streets-İstiklal Street-and close to Taksim Metro Station. The staff were very friendly and spoke English, which made communication easy. The bed was comfortable and ensured a good night's sleep. The wifi was very fast as well.
